I knew exactly where to find them once I was in behind the gates, Amanda's mom owned a big garden behind the house, it was very comfortable there, it was cool and spacious, scented of many flowers too.
I walked it with full expectations..... And there they were, over juice and meat pie
"it's star" I heard Maya say as I approached, they all turned my direction.
"how are you girl?" they asked in unison
"I'm okay" I felt uneasy, they say on the wooden chairs around a wooden table too.... I saw an empty chair with a glass of juice and a covered disposable plate.
"where have you been at?" Amanda dug into her meat pie with her teeth
"Ermmmm....moe"
They stared at each other and burst out laughing.....what was funny?
"well I always knew you liked that boy...."Amanda stopped laughing
"why do y'all think I like him?"
"its obvious star, if not, what were you doing at his house?" Maya asked and I rolled my eyes
"his mom likes me....so she invited me over..... Besides moe has a girlfriend..... This very ugly girl" I told them.......why did I have to call her ugly, she was very beautiful..... Even a girl would've fallen for her....
"snap out of it star, we all know your definition of ugly" Maya laughed and I joined in
"okay fine, she's beautiful, she's classy, she wears everything designer..... Even if i happen to like moe, I can't compete with her" I ran my fingers through my hair
"Ohhh so you like him?? " Amanda made this very funny face
"nope, I don't..... I just think he's fine that's all" I gave a sincere reply and they nodded
"I really think y'all looked good together that day though" Amanda started.... I knew what she wanted to do....
"I know seh...." I replied, tired of the topic...
"how bout your boyfriends party?" Maya asked and Amanda smiled
"it's still holding''
"yes...." I exclaimed
"something happened today" I started... I couldn't just miss this gist
"I entered this very weird uber, I met this fine guy, about eighteen or nineteen......he was driving a Benz" I paused looking around, luckily I could see Amanda's garage from there.....
"that kind of Benz " I pointed quickly and they all stared unbelievably
"but a black one" I sipped my drink
"that's dads favorite car star!! Do you know how Much it costs?? " she asked me
"that was why it was so weird Amanda"
"that car costs a fortune" Maya took Amanda's side
"well i rode in it today" I shrugged
