*Loki POV*
Loki had lived a lengthy life and never had someone react to his magic in this way. No one other then Thor and his mother, the only people he held dear to his heart.
The hero had slipped into a heavy slumber a little while ago, Loki's body throbbed to achieve the same-and he tried-but there was nothing he could do to seal off his overworking mind. He despised this hero, but still somewhat liked him. It was a conflicting emotion but he concluded that until further notice he shall continue to keep his guard up. He had no reason to though, none that he could identify. Something in him was hesitant to trust so easily to someone so new, it seemed to be something out of a dream. He wished it where a dream, that all this was just one big nightmare and that he would wake up any second with the tesseract still in hand and Thor by his side as they go to encounter a new home to rule their kingdom....together.
He felt a sharp pain in his chest at the thought of his brother, yet the answer lay in front of him, all he had to do was ask the mortal what had become of Thor. What had happened. The mortal was there, he fought in the war, Loki....wasn't.
'Soul Realm' he reflected, it all seemed much harder to recall. He feared if at one point he will forget, maybe he wasn't supposed to remember it considering he was never ment to be there. He remembered his mother and didn't want to forget. No, he didn't want to fail her, he needed to write it all down somewhere. Before the momory would fade into nothing.
Yet there was no quill, no paper, and no ability to move. All he had was a mortal sleeping in front of him.
With a quick kick of his foot he woke him up.
"Ugh what? Mister Loki? Are you okay?"
'No I'm in excruciating pain' he thought.
"Yes, now listen closely mortal. The soul realm. Have you heard of it?"
He stared at him in confusion before gently shaking his head no. Loki didn't wish to forget, so he would tell him anyhow. He closed his eyes and spoke, it took several tries to get his acting up throat to function again though. Loki had just finished speaking, why was it so complicated? Trying his best to overlook the pain as he tried to speak but it seems it was all to obvious.
"Here don't talk, you need to let your throat rest and heal...how about I bring you some more pain killers and maybe I can pick up something for your neck at a CVS?"
Loki didn't want that. He demanded to express what he experienced. He didn't want to forget.
"No......I don't want to forget her." It was like nails on a chalkboard hearing himself talk. Peters face confused but showed sympathy, Loki believed the mortal assumed he was going crazy. The hero was quiet for a bit then reached for the pills and water. Loki pursed his lips. He shall not accept it, not until he spoke. Not until he was heard. He shall not be treated like some dog.
"Please mister Loki, Karen says your in a lot of pain." That much was true, who Karen was was another question, Loki raised an eyebrow. "OH-uh s-sorry Karen is my AI in the suit."
'Well at least that was answered.'
He peered down at the pills being held up to his face, Loki thanked the gods he was no longer webbed- he was not about to be mouth fed again. He took the pills with water, it hurt yes but that wasn't quite the problem, the problem is that after he drank it he realized how thirsty he was when he finished the bottle, not only that, he was starving.
