He arrived, much sooner than expected. How he even managed to discover the ship and figure out it was theirs was still a mystery
•••

He hummed in delight as he placed the space stone in his gauntlet. After a short pause he saw to his offspring.

"There are two more stones on Earth. Find them my children and bring them to me on time." His voice was stern and commanding. They kneel for him in respect, as if he's some kind of god.

"Oh, Father, we will not fail you-"

"If I might- interject?"

The children of Thanos turn to see that they where interrupted by none other than an actual God.

"If you're going to Earth, you might want a guide. I do have a bit of experience in that arena." He added, smiling through the panic.

"If you consider failure experience." Thanos slurred reminding him of his failed attempts to rule Earth.

"I consider experience experience." He responded this time being more cautious and serious with his choice of speeches.

"Almighty Thanos, I Loki, Prince of Asgard-" He hesitated staring at the ground knowing these moments might be his last.

", Odinson." Searching to Thor as he went, he had never considered himself an Odinson, but now was not the moment to complain.

These may truly be his last moments. Turning elsewhere from his brother, he continued.

"The rightful king of the Yotunheim, GOD of Mischief."

Thor looked seeing Loki form a dagger behind his back. His breathing quickened as he knew what Loki was prepared to do.

"My undying...... Fidelity." He stumbled then rapidly raised his arm to stab Thanos in the head. He was expeditiously stopped with the power of the stone.

Thanos only studied him blankly. "Undying?" He started, repeating Loki's last statements. Loki began to shake as Thanos grabbed his arm.

"You should choose your words more carefully." He told shoving Loki's arm downwards and deliberately reached his fist out to grab his neck strangling him casually.

He gagged and his shacking grew violent as he was then lifted into the air meeting eyes with him. He gripped his arm digging his nails in his skin in a pitiful attempt to pry his fist away; he screamed silently gasping for at least a single breath.

He kicked and tried to squirm, the sound of light bones breaking could be heard, his face turned a shade of purple and eyes red filling with blood. Blood had likewise managed to trickle from his mouth. His heart once beating fast with fear and adrenaline was gradually slowing. Staring at Thanos he forced himself so speak with the last portion of air he had left.

"Y-you..will never be.......a God."

Thanos he only chuckled at his remark then added the last bit of strength to end the Gods' life.

Thor observed in horror howling through the metal as he saw his brother die. Thanos peered at the other God and made his way to him with his dead brother and dropped him onto the ground in front of him. Blood fell from his brother's mouth and escaped from his eyes, Thor cried screaming for Loki.

"No resurrections this time." he said aware of the Gods faked deaths and returns.

With that said he left, burning the ship with the power stone. A bright purple fire blinding to the eye, spreading quickly throughout all the dead bodies. Thor broke free from the bent metal and fell desperately crawling to his brother before the fire could reach them.
