(I should've probably mentioned this last chapter, but Arsene is going to be quotation marks in italics, and Ren is gonna be the apostrophe ['example'] in italics. When they're speaking in unison... take a wild guess.

["'example'"]

Just like that. There you go.)

Okey, time to read now!

After the short confrontation with Sojiro, Ren unceremoniously fell face-first onto the bed without even bothering to take off his glasses or take his hurt arm into account. After that crazy first day of school, he hardly had the strength to do anything else for the day. But there was still one more thing that would take place: Arsene's request.

That would have to wait until later, though. It was still light outside, which meant Cafe Leblanc was still open to the public. So once again, the raven-haired used the dead time that he had to get lost in his own thoughts. After a couple of hours, he had begun to mentally revisit today's events.

Somehow, the first one that came to mind was:

'I've been at Shujin for less than a day, and everyone already hates me.'

"That's the first thing you think of?"

'A-A lot went on today, so my thoughts are...'

"A bit awry," Arsene finished for the boy. "Which is fine. Something like that other world does take time to get used to."

Ren's Persona had responded remarkably fast. He was thinking that he would be met with silence, so it came as quite a bit of surprise to see -well, hear- that Arsene had responded.

The transfer sat himself up and looked at his phone. 8:48. nearly 3 hours had passed since he had first come home. If he remembered the shop hours correctly, he had only 12 minutes until he was alone. 12 minutes is fine. Better than a lot of the crazy mess of events that had happened.

They came and went rather quickly. The bell on the door chimed one final time, along with Sojiro's voice announcing that he was leaving for the night. But before Ren had the time to get himself settled down, a phone started to ring.

He checked his phone. It was stubbornly silent. The sound continued, so the transfer curiously walked down the stairs, where the sound was much louder than before. A yellow phone at the end of the bar was the source of the disturbance. It was picked up and answered.

"Yo."

"...U-um..."

"You forgot my voice already, kid? It's Sojiro. Hey, I forgot to flip the sign on the door to "Closed". Can you do that for me?"

"...Yes, sir."

"Thanks."

Just as he was told, Ren walked outside and flipped the sign to "Closed". Though, he didn't go in right away. He took the chance to see a little bit of Yongen-Jaya at night.

A soft gasp was all that escaped his mouth as he took in the sight before him. Everything was so much different now that the sun had set. Lights from the shops and street-lamps casted a soft, yet oddly nostalgic hue on the backstreets. The frizzy-haired could only imagine what Shibuya, one of the hotspots of Tokyo, looked like now.

Logic eventually got the better of the teen, and he made his way back inside and up to his new attic room, where he waited for a couple of minutes.

"Do you wish to begin?" Arsene inquired softly, breaking the silence.

'Y... yes.'
