Birth of the Twin Blades

Smack! "Oww" I said grabbing my cheek after my mother slapped me with enough Strength to make even Hercules jealous. I suddenly became genuinely interested in the floor in my failed effort to avoid my mothers gaze.

"Gordon Ares Jackson you look at me this instance".

Now I absolutely knew I was in dead, any kid knows when your mom calls out your full name you might as well planning your funeral.

I slowly made eye contact with mom, the all powerful Hera queen of the gods. However instead of seeing her mad she was crying, not like a few tears either, she was balling her eye's out while managing to keep her death stare up.

"Gordon what have I told you about jumping into a suicide mission for your brother. Gaia could have killed you".

I knew she was thinking about me dying, I almost died twice already in these last two wars. Both times it was to save Percy's butt. I pulled mother into a consoling hug saying

"I'm sorry mom I had to if I didn't get there in time Thalia would have been crushed and Luke wouldn't have gained control over over his body to kill himself with Kronos".

I couldn't help crying thinking about my best friend. Luke, Annabeth and Thalia found me in a old shack in the middle of the forest before you get to Camp Half Blood. Seeing how It was by Hera's guarded and the fact that I have her eye's and aura Luke knew right away who my mother was. However, he didn't tell the others or anyone about me and made it a point to come visit me when mom wasn't around so I wouldn't be lonely. He was my absolute best friend my brother. His death was the hardest thing for me to get over.

Mom pulled me in her embrace saying "listen baby, I know I'm being hard on you, but if Zeus finds you out he might actually kill you, not to mention the fact that I love you more than life itself. I know you feel responsible for Luke but he made his own choices and redeem himself in the end so know he is where he should be in the Elysium Fields".

Just then Aunt Hestia and Aphrodite flashed in. I looked over at them and smiled but they all looked like someone stole there favorite toy.

"Why the glum faces we just won the war".

Hestia then said,
"They know about you my child, they think your were working for Gaia and kronos and if we don't take you to Olympus they plan to send the amazons and the hunters after you".

Mom wore a paniced expression while pacing the room. Finally looking at her sister and Aphrodite and said,
"What do you think we should do"?

Hestia said
"I guess it's finally time to show them my nephew".

Aphrodite shook her head saying "you can't really be considering this can you, Zeus will kill him or maybe even start a war".

"No he won't". Mom said with steel in her voice. Mom flashed us to the throne room. All the Olympians where in their thrones save for Hestai, Aphrodite and mom.

I also noticed Annabeth, Percy, Nico, Thalia, Jason, and Piper were all there. Zeus ever the drama queen (I don't really like him) said "wife why do you bring this mortal to the throne room"?

Mom looked at Zeus and said
"I bring him because 1.) he deserves to be rewarded like the rest here, 2) he is a champion of Hestia, Aphrodite and me".

Athena then said "why would little miss ditzy(Aphrodite) need a champion?" I started to snap my aura growing to that of one of the children of the big three but my aura was more alive with Hera's power. I tried to keep calm but failed until Artemis walk over to me and put a had on my shoulder. I instantly calming down, Artemis has always known how to calm me down. everyone apart from us standing in the middle were shocked to say the least.
