This is an original Swedish series, this has been translated into many languages. For everyone's sake, I list them in English so that most people can find these. I cannot find the correct order or the books, but I am going to list them all anyway.

The Hotel Mystery

On the day before Christmas Eve, the eminent family Åkerö, take a suite at the main hotel in Valleby. With them, they have their extremely valuable, most-prized possession – a Chinese apple dachshund. The hotel manager promises the family to take meticulous care of the dog, but then the unthinkable happens. The dog goes missing without a trace! LasseMaja's Detective Agency gets involved in a tricky case.

The football mystery

t's time for Lasse and Maja's fourteenth case. Every year a very important football match is played in Valleby. The team from Valleby are to play the team from Solbacka. The silver shield is glittering in the sunlight, and the crowd cheer as the players run onto the pitch. Here comes Sister Mary from the school who is playing as in midfield with Muhammed Karat. And with Barbro Palm playing at full-back and the chief of police in goal, nothing can go wrong – can it? Particularly as the Valleby team's new trainer, the postman Franco Bollo, has a background in professional football from Italy... Hasn't he?

The Gold mystery

Now it's time for Lasse and Maja's tenth case – perhaps one of their trickiest so far. All the pictures are in colour this time – and with the title in gold, of course!
A huge cargo of gold arrives in the harbour at Valleby. Lasse, Maja and the chief of police supervise the unloading of this valuable freight. At the bank a noticeably nervous bank manager takes charge of the gold. The following morning, all the gold has disappeared! The security cameras show nothing, and inside the bank vault is a letter stating that the staff have been taken hostage. But what are those mysterious footprints on the chair below the camera? And what does a warm fizzy drink have to do with the situation? Something isn't right in that bank...

The newspaper mystery

This is the eighth volume in the critically acclaimed mystery series about Lasse and Maja's detective agency. The stories are all set in and around the small town of Valleby, with a rich gallery of characters to captivate the reader along the exciting road to solving each new mystery. Untrue newspaper articles and slander! Everyone in Valleby is upset. Who is the fake reporter? Lasse and Maja have to undertake some nocturnal investigations at the newspaper office before they manage to solve the mystery, reveal the scandal and unmask the culprit!

The smell of sawdust, popcorn and excitement fill the air in Circus Splendido's striped tent. The public allow themselves to be entertained, unaware that at the same time, their wallets, telephones and necklaces are disappearing without a trace... It's a good thing that detectives Lasse and Maja are on the job!

The Cafe mystery

Café Marsaan, Valleby's lovely pastry shop, has been subjected to a number of robberies, always when there was a great deal of money in the cash register. The cashier is in shock, and LasseMaja's Detective Agency becomes involved in a mysterious case.

The diamond mystery

Someone stole gold-merchant Muhammed Karat's diamonds. Could it have been the snidely sniggering goldsmith Ture Modig, who really should have owned the whole store? Or maybe Lollo Smith, the newly employed health-freak with a taste for the good things in life? Surely it couldn't have been Siv Leander, faithful employee, now in financial straits? The police in the small town of Valleby are at a loss, and LasseMaja's Detective Agency must step in.

The library mystery

Books are disappearing from the library in Valleby. How is that possible, after all the library has had an alarm installed! Lasse and Maja are facing their thirteenth case!

The movie theater mystery

Lasse and Maja run a small detective agency Desperate dog owners in Valleby are charged exorbitant amounts of money by brazen dognappers. Lasse and Maja realize that time is of the essence and pick up the trail. A trail that leads them straight into the darkness of the Bio-Rio movie theater auditorium!

The pet shop mystery

It's time for Lasse and Maja to solve their twelfth case. The animals in the pet shop aren't very well; they're getting more and more tired, and now they don't even want to eat. Could there be something wrong with their food? Valdemar, the owner of the pet shop, doesn't know what to do. And it doesn't help when the postman complains about dogs barking in the shop at night. That's impossible, Valdemar doesn't even have a dog! Lasse and Maja realise it's time to start keeping an eye on the pet shop.

The train mystery

On a fast moving train is a sack full of money, carefully watched by the chief inspector. But he can't resist taking a nap – and somebody pulls the emergency brake. The money is missing! Lasse and Maja suspect that the thief is still on the train.

The Church Mystery

It's time for Lasse and Maja's fifteenth case. The old priest at the church in Valleby is due to retire, and the bishop has come along to hand over the job to young Fanny Winter. But is someone sabotaging the solemn ceremony in the church? And where has the bishop's silver crozier gone?

The School mystery

There are false banknotes all over Valleby. The chief of police appeals to the children in Lasse and Maja's class to keep their eyes open for notes without a watermark. At the same time it emerges that someone has secretly run off thousands of copies on the school's colour photocopier. Lasse and Maja suspect there might be a connection. Time to take a closer look at the school staff.

What's going on at the museum in Valleby? Is it really true that the Egyptian mummy came to life after 3000 years? The horror-stricken night watchman claims that he saw the mummy walking around the museum. The very same night, the most valuable painting in the museum is cut out of its frame. Lasse and Maja become involved in a very unusual case.

The Saffron mystery

Now Christmas itself is in danger!
They've run out of saffron at Café Bernard & Panini. Lasse and Maja pop along to the supermarket, but it turns out the whole of the new consignment has disappeared! Somebody must have got into the office and stolen all the saffron ...
"My goodness, this is really serious! Christmas is under threat!" exclaims the manager of the store, chasing the young detectives out of the door. He doesn't suspect that Lasse and Maja have already made a number of interesting observations in his shop.

The Love mystery

The sixteenth adventure is here, and it is in Amor's colours!

The immensely popular detectives' sixteenth case is all about love. Valleby is to hold a love festival – in the name of love, money is to be collected for the poor children of the world. Muhammed Karat has promised to pay five kronor for every kiss or peck on the cheek that Lasse and Maja can register. The residents of the town kiss for all they are worth, until they realise the money has been stolen! Who could be so wicked as to steal from the poor children of the world? And why is Muhammed Karat creeping around outside the office of museum curator Barbro Palm at night?
