When I arrived in South Africa I took my bags and call an Uber. While I'm waiting for my Uber, I call my Mom to let them know that I am safe. Shortly afterward my Uber arrived, I took my bags and climb in. I gave the driver my address where I meet my agent for the key of my new house. One thing that I love about South Africa, is that the people are so kind here and make you feel welcome.
After an hour's drive, my driver wakes me up and let me know that we are here! I thanked him kindly and pay him. The agent is so friendly she helped me with my bags and hands me the key to my new apartment. Then she hands me a welcoming gift and hugs me so tight. "If you need something just give me a call, okay?" I open the door with a breathtaking view that leads me to the living room. I take my bags and put them in the kitchen.
The theme of the house is Modern farmhouse it feels already like home, the floor is wooden floors and the kitchen's cabinets are white with white marble as a cooktop, the backsplash is simple white subway style with a farm sink looking out a window on a farm's entry. There's an island in the middle of the kitchen with two old rustic coffee shop chairs. Over the island is there a rustic old school bell with a globe inside that makes a lovely pendant. From the island you can see the living room. With beige couches and a wooden coffee table in the middle with a lovely fireplace as a focus point. There are two bedrooms, the guest bedroom haves his own bathroom and built-in cabinets. The main bedroom or shall I say my bedroom have the nicest view ever. On your right, you walk into a walk-in closet and in the middle, there's this human size mirror. When you walk into the main bedroom, there's this glass window from the ceiling to the floor with one amazing view of a mountain, at the back of the room behind the bed are a whitewashed wall.
On your left is the main bathroom with a triangular bath, next to it a stand-in shower. I think I might just enjoy living here.
It's already 17:00pm, so I decided to sort out my clothes and take a quick shower. It's 18:00pm and I am starving. I decided to google take away nearby, so I take a stroll in the streets to the nearest food court. When I saw KFC, I decided on a wrap with a chocolate milkshake. It wasn't a few minutes and the waiter behind the counter called my order. So I decided to walk back home because it's getting dark and cold and I am very tired.
After a few minutes, I'm on the couch eating my wrap and finish my milkshake. I'm done and I decide to clean and go and wash my face and teeth. All I can think of is sleep. So I went to bed and the next thing I'm asleep.
