Blue cloudless skies slowly but suddenly, not paying attention to something almost makes it happen faster, faded to gray and overbearing
I imagine all of the mammalian and avian creatures were signaling out to one another in both warning and preparation
In minutes the entire sky was covered...Random instances of lighting seemed to be thrown to and fro
Illuminating the sky with their power and form
Some would strike alone, while others connected and began to show form together
With flashes brighter than any other light humans have created could produce, my eyes witnessed the totality of strength on earth
Terrifying and disastrous to one
To another, instilling a childlike wonder
Eyes agape and fixed upon this living work of art
Coming to sweep and wash away
The downpour hasn't started just yet...Nature is just sending a message
A reminder
Take heed
With the clouds beginning to form together and vibrate, the breeze began to come
A youthful breeze, like a kiss on the cheek from a toddler
White clouds steadily billowed and when lightning struck, they appeared to form massive paintings of unimaginable things
Tree branches being lifted by the wind signal the torrential downpour soon coming
Throughout time memorial, trees have stood their ground in the face of thunder, their roots run as deep as their heights reach the heavens
And so begins the peppering of cars and rooftops and trees, everything was covered
Rain danced upon the surface of concrete
That distinctive smell of earth and water and wind unlike any on earth
Forming circular spiral patterns, water danced and continued her dance
Various forms humanoid in shape
Water droplets pierced through the screen in my room and slapped against my face as thunder vociferated
Within minutes rain droplets sounded like drums being played in a chorus altogether
Her form is always undeniable
