I stepped inside the black box, not really knowing what was going to happen. I could sort of hear Dipper and Mable talking to the audience, but since I was inside a closed box, I could only hear mumbles.

I waited inside the box for around 2 minutes before I started hearing voices in my head. After a while, I realised that it was Dipper's.

"Don't freak out or move, or it will hurt a lot. Good luck sweetie!" I rolled my eyes. How the hell did he talk to me from outside? I heard a small sound from around where my stomach was, and I realised that it was a sword. I started to freak out as the blade entered my body.

I closed my eyes, not wanting to look. But instead of excruciating pain, my stomach started feeling numb. So did my legs, arms, cheeks and pretty much every part of my body. I heard Dipper's voice again.

"You're doing great. Aren't you glad that you accepted my invite?" I could almost see him smirking at me. I saw the swords being take out of my body, and the numbness slowly faded away.

As the box finally opened, I cringed at the bright stage lights. The audience burst into applause as I staggered out of the box. Dipper leaned in towards me and whispered so quietly that I could barely hear him.

"Check your pockets when you get back to your seat. Good job Pazzie."

I glared at him and made my way back to my seat, where Gideon was ready to drown me in questions.

"Are you alright? Did it hurt? How many fingers am I holding up? How old are you? What is the name of your chicken? What did Dipper say to you?"

I rolled my eyes at his energy. "I'm fine Gids. Stop worrying."

"But what did Dipper say to you?"

I bit my lip. Did I want to tell him or not? "Just good job. That's all."

Why did I lie to him? I didn't really understand. But I strangely didn't feel guilty about it. It felt like the right thing to do.
