Chap 10: Strawberry Milkshake

Once we got home, I went straight to the attic, grabbed some grains and placed them on my lap. Hannah came over and ate them while I checked all of my pockets for something that wasn't suppose to be there.

My hand came across a piece of paper in my jacket pocket. Written in the Dipper's neat, blue cursive was the words: 

Meet you at midnight at the tent ;) 

I flipped it around.

Come alone or else.

I didn't really know what "or else" meant, but based on the context, I guessed that it wasn't something good. I ignored Gideon pounding his fist onto the door of the attic trying to get into our shared room. 

Eventually I decided to let him in, and went to Oily's Diner. One of the Corduroys came up to me and took my order. I ordered a strawberry milkshake and some fries. Sitting next to me was a nerdy-looking boy with black hair and glasses. I decided to try and make him my first friend. 

"Hi! I'm Pacifica Southeast! What's yours?"

"Robbie Valentino."

I smiled at him, "I'm staying at Reverse falls for the summer. wanna be friends?"

He laughed a little bit. "sure. But it really isn't a good idea for you to go around asking to be friends with random people, no matter how nice they look. There are some people around here that you really cant trust."

"Like who?"

"The Gleeful twins. Rich kids. Maybe you've heard of them? Dipper flirts with almost every girl he sees, Mable bullies a lot of people. You really do not want to get onto their bad side."

"Oh don't worry. I already know not to mess with them." I laughed and rolled my eyes.

We chatted for around 8 minutes before he got up.

"Got to go to work now. see ya Pacifica."

"See ya!"

I smiled at myself and finished my milkshake before heading back outside.
