The walk to the next town over was a long one. After that little argument you had, you both were silent. You kept your mind clear so he wouldn't read any thoughts.

The harsh sun began to set and you continued on through the nightfall for a while. Though exhaustion and hunger was getting to you badly. You knew if you stopped now it would be another full days journey.

You were just rather excited to get cleaned up at the moment. It's probably a three weeks since you last bathed. You slowed down to a spot just then. "We will camp here for the night." You say, setting down the bag on your shoulders and releasing the weight.

"Tch." Was all Herobrine managed to say. You glared over at him for a moment. He just looked at the ground for a moment, deciding something before snapping his fingers and making a rather luxurious tent appear.

"Sweet." You say starting towards it. He holds up a hand. "This is for me, not you. You didn't wish for it." He says irritated. "But, wha.." "I will not cater to you!" He growls.

You huff. "Fine then." You say turning away and plopping down on the sand, using your backpack as a pillow. You curl up facing the opposite direction of the tent.

"Besides, your filthy." He growls under his breath. Your eyes shot wide with anger. "You don't know what it's like to be poor and on the run from every bandit in town! If I could have nice clothes and a shower I would! But runts like me can't afford such luxuries!" You snap and turn away once again.

All you wanted was a friend but it seemed like this guy was a bad pick. Maybe you should just wish for a palace and riches and live your cold gold and lonely life out. At least you would have a comfortable bed and shower.

You huffed, figuring you would think about it tomorrow after you've gotten some rest.

You woke up to the hot sun on your face. Your face scrunched up at the light as you stretched. You sat up and looked around. Herobrine was lounging in a hammock between two trees he's conjured.

"Alright, I think it's time we get moving." You say, standing and grabbing the bag. Herobrine said nothing, just un-summoned his things and stood.

The day was hot just like any other day in the desert. You were exhausted but Herobrine seemed to be doing just fine. "Why do you walk and not float, or retreat to your lamp?" You asked, breaking the long silence.

"I've been stuck in that wretched thing for a long time. I don't need it. I'm am fully capable of walking." Was his only reply. You sighed, your mind blank, to tired and hot to think of anything.

As the sun made it course across the sky, the next town came into view on the horizon. "Finally." You say, speeding up your walking pace. "Can't want to get some hot food!" You say excitedly.

"How about you clean up first. I don't want to be seen with you like that." Herobrine grumbled. "Oh, right!" You say.

As you both made it closer to town you could smell the food. Grant it you did have some in your bag, but nothing was better than fresh cooked restaurant food.

You both entered the town and you searched for a place to get cleaned up. Luckily there was a place right by a good restaurant. You grabbed your new clothes and looked up at Herobrine.

"Watch the bag, I'll be right back." You say. He said nothing. You rolled your eyes and went to the showering stalls.
