Ava's Pov:

oh my gosh I can't believe I'm gonna meet THE prince of Alania. He's so hot. I thought to myself while packing for the trip. The ball isn't until another couple of weeks but I'm leaving today in order to get familiar with the area. I've heard rumors that sometimes the princess hangs out with a group of kids and maybe I could get into that group and learn more about the prince. I don't really need to learn much because I hope that he's gonna choose me but its a good plan anyways. The only flaw I have in him choosing me is my step sister is coming with. Clara. I liked her but I think now shes a spoiled little brat. Like very spoiled. She's been my step sister for like a year because my mom married a king from another kingdom. It's whatever I guess, I don't really care. Oh except for the fact that shes daddy's little girl. She gets whatever she wants whenever. The other day she asked for a new coat when she just got a new one. She's a total royal pain.

TIME JUMPPPP

As I boarded the boat and entered my quarters. It was large with a nicely-sized bed. I normally don't sleep well on a boat but I was so unexpectedly tired, that as soon as I hit my bed I was out.

Chloe's Pov

I sat in the palace corridor bored outta my mind while doing outfit fittings. My brother is up right now but I could hardly care less, all I wanted to do was go out into the town and visit my friends. I rarely ever was allowed out during this time period. As Mr princey princey is having to get married. He doesn't even want to do it but mom and dad are forcing him. What I don't understand is why it has to be like a week long party. Why can't it just be like a day. It makes absolutely no sense. My brother and I are and always have been really close and I just hope this wife hunt won't ruin it. Once an hour had passed it was now my turn for the fitting. Why couldn't I just wear an old one it's perfectly fine. As I stood on the stand for what felt like years, getting sized, fitted and what not, I just yearned to run around and forget about the fitting.

Finally after both me and my brother's fitting, I could finally leave. I shook off the dress that was just nicely fitted for me and ran up the flights of stairs and grabbed my best town looking clothes in order to not get bombarded by all the new visitors. I was going to see my closet friends that I met one time when we were young. As I ran out the door I didn't care to tell mom and dad were I was going. If they were worried they could just ask my brother. I strolled all the way into town not even knowing if they were at the normal hang out spot. As I got closer I could make out 5 girls all siting on a blanket on the grass. I picked up my pace hopping to surprise them.

Taylor's Pov

As I was sitting on the blanket enjoying my friends and I's wonderful picnic I notice a person from the distance running straight towards us. As they make their way closer I immediately know who it is.

"So yeah I'm thinking of wearing a gold and whi-" Kailie says before I interrupt her

"CHLOE!" I scream excitedly

"Pardon?" Kara asks

"LOOK" I demand

As they all follow the direction of my finger they see the person they were least expecting but also were glad to see. Once we all spotted her and she saw us, we jumped up and ran to her. One by one we all attacked her until we were all laying on the grass. Once we all got up we basically sprinted back to the blanket. Once settled we all started asking Chloe questions.

"I thought you weren't aloud out due to the ball and stuff?" Eva questions

"Why didn't you send a note saying you were coming?" Space adds to Eva's questions

"Who's this?" Kara asks not yet meeting this new person.

"1. I kinda ran out before my parents noticed, 2. It was a last minute decison, and 3. Im Chloe." Chloe answers. "And you are."

"Kara's the name your highness."

We all giggle under our breath as Kara says that. Chloe laughs as well.

"Ew please never call me that again unless for joking reasons." Chloe laughs out

"I don't know what your talking about Chloe?" Space says ready to joke around. "I thought you liked that, Your Highness."

"Sorry it's a habit my moms made me practice saying that since I was born." Kara says sheepishly.

"Don't worry about it. I'm guessing we will be great friends."

And with that everyone talked and played for hours on end until it was curfew. We all walked home dropping everyone off at their homes. After we dropped Space off it was just Kara,Chloe,and I. As we continued walking I eventually ended up at my home. I wave goodbye to the two girls and walk inside. I greet my parents and eat supper. Then go up to my room and sleep.

Third person pov

As all girls went back to their homes. There was a anxiousness that rested through all of them. Weather it be from new found feelings,the royal ball,or their own parents. All were hoping that the next hangout day was fun and eventful, as it may be the last one before one of them woos over Chloe's brother and becomes queen. Or it may be the last day until new girls come and try to split the party. All one knew is that the closer this ball comes the more and more anxious each girl will get. Kailie is nervous about her dress,Eva and Kara about showing honor to their families, Space and Taylor were worried for the same reasons but both tried to hide it. Chloe was worried about what the upcoming events will do to change their friendship. As come morning a ship will arrive holding two valuable people in these girl's story.
