Third Person Pov

As more and more ships arrived on the island kingdoms coast the more and more excited the kingdom got. When the citizens finally thought all the boats and ships were done. A glamours ship entered the harbor. One could only assume this was the kingdom of Valirs boat. Valir had already been the talk of the town by each person after the other saying that one of the king and queens daughters would be picked. As the royals got off their boat and into a carriage  they headed to the castle as they were staying there.  Once there the two girls were amazed by the castles beauty. 

Clara's Pov

As I stepped out of the carriage with my sister I see a wonderful palace that is soon to be mine. I have no doubts in my mind that I will successfully win over the prince. As our bags and belongings are taken to our rooms I look around in awe of the castles ballroom where I will soon be dancing with the prince.  While I continued daydreaming of the prince and I, I was rudely interrupted by my step sister nudging me. I looked at her with a rude look until I noticed the king and queen walking towards us. 

"Welcome, were so excited to finally meet you all." The queen exclaims

"Thank you for having us." My father responds. 

"Ah you too must be the sisters, Ava and Clara correct?" 

"Um yes your highness." Ava answers 

"well I haven't got the slightest clue on what my children are up to but as soon as I do I will send them down to meet you both." 

"So what your saying is your son isn't here right now?" I ask intrigued. 

"He will be here in a short time and i'm sure he'll love to meet both of you." 

"Thank you, your majesty." Both Ava and I say

We were both told to follow a helper into our rooms. They were right across from one another but I didn't mind. All I cared about was to find the whereabouts of the royal children,specifically the prince. As I scanned my new living place I found it quite perfect. The bed had a large frame and a huge mattress, there was a mirror with candles all around ready to light. It was very lightly decorated but that was not a big matter to me.  I went over to go check Ava's room and how she was doing. 

"May I come in?" I say peeking through her door

"Sure." Ava responds

"Your rooms nice." 

"It's fine,just not like home." 

"yeah I agree. So anyways-"

"Between the two of us who do you think the prince will prefer." 

Me I thought to myself. I knew I couldn't say that out loud without causing a fight so instead I respond. 

"Neither." 

"What!" 

"Teasing, If i'm being honest probably you." 

" I'm not quite sure, it doesn't matter could you please leave now." 

I didn't know were this sudden rudeness came from but I wasn't in the mood to argue so I politely left her room. As I was walking back to mine I heard laughing coming from a room nearby. I wondered who it was. I followed the noises until I tracked down the laughter. I stood outside the door wondering if I should open it. I decided against it and started walking away. Until I heard a guys laughter. I thought that well I might as well say hello to whoever is in there. I slowly open the door and that's when I see who it was. There was the prince with his back facing the door and his sister facing me. I wanted to go in more to see if the prince's appearance was true, but before I got the chance the princess noticed me. 

"Oh hello, sorry I didn't know you have all arrived yet." The princess explains

"Oh no it's my fault I just was curious and wondered who was in here. Im Clara by the way." I explain holding out my hand. 

"Chloe, pleasure to meet you." 

It was by this time that the prince had turned around, and let me say the rumors were true. He was gorgeous. I felt myself going red and tried to stop myself but couldn't. I stared breathlessly at him for what felt like forever. He seemed to notice as he smiled at me. 

"Ah yes this is my brother, but you probably knew that already." Chloe breaks the silence with

"Oh yes of course. I better leave. Pleasure to meet you both,your majesty's." I reply shaking

"Oh please do stay and don't call us your majesty it sounds to proper." The prince tells me. 

I sit down and notice they are playing a game of chess. Well a finished game of chess. It seemed like Chloe had just beaten the prince.  Chloe cleared off the board and turned the table towards me. All while this was happening I couldn't stop but think about how the prince i'm gonna marry is right next to me. After a few rounds of chess and checkers I've learned a few things about the siblings and the kingdom itself. Chloe then proceeded to show me around the castle while the prince had to go do a shoe fitting of some nonsense like that. I've made the decision that Chloe is definitely a good friend. 

I've been invited by Chloe to go meet some of her friends in the village. She explained that they will love me. We were to go meet up with them tomorrow. I told both of them about my kingdom and how my father got married to my step sisters mother. We talked and talked until I was very tired and the two had to go prepare something for the ball. I could tell they were lying but I didn't mind it seemed like this may be the only time they get.  As I was walking back into my room I was stopped by the prince. 

"I don't believe we've ever formally met." The prince said. "I'm Timothee and you are" 

"I'm Clara."

"Pleasure meeting you Clara." He bends down and kisses my hand. (This is what they did back then don't judge)

He walks away and I stand there in awe of what just happened
