Unexpected Surprises

Third person pov

"Noah who?" Chloe asked. 

"Noah of Enchancia(ha Sofia the first?). But I don't like that title so i'm just Noah." 

"Nice to meet you just Noah."  

Chloe and Noah stared at one another before one finally broke the silence. 

"So I should probably get going. You most likely have more important things to get tending to." Noah says 

"Oh uh actually I don't really have anything of importance going on today." Chloe replies with.

"Oh then do you maybe want to walk around?  You don't have to if you don't want to. I just thought maybe you could show me around." 

"Oh I would love to." 

Chloe knew she should probably go see her friends but thought this might be a one time opportunity so she decided to take it. Noah grabbed her hand and both stared to walk. Chloe wondered what the others were doing. She felt bad but her guilt went away shortly after she showed Noah around. 

Kara's Pov 

I was scared for today. I prayed that Taylor came to her senses and is not going to go along with this fake dating thing. While we all walked she didn't say anything about it and I was nervous. After we met up with Kailie I felt more and more anxiety of when Taylor was going to drop the bomb. We all walked up to our normal hang out spot and before I sat down Taylor pulled me aside. 

"We are still going through with this." She says

"Oh boy." I reply

"So when I say it go along with it." 

"How do I do that?" 

"Agree with me and sit by me. Be lucky Chloe is not here." 

"Wha why?" I say confused.

"Because she would either dare us to kiss or see through our fasade immediately." 

I nod and we both walk down to where everyone else is. We all just talk freely for a few moments until Space speaks up. 

"So have any of you found dates to the ball?" She speaks out. 

"WAIT WE HAVE TO HAVE DATES?" Eva exclaims. 

"No but some people may." Ava answers. 

"Oh sorry." 

"You're fine Eva." 

"Okay anyways I don't know but I do have my eye on someone." Space says looking in a certain someones direction. 

oh no I thought to myself. Here comes the bomb. 

Taylor clears her throat and I mentally prepare myself for whats about to come. 

"Actually I do have a date." Taylor says calmy. 

"WHO." Kailie yelled. 

"Well we've been meaning to tell you all day but." 

She slowly starts reaching towards my hand. 

"Kara and I are dating." Taylor says as she grabs my hand. 

"Yup" I agree awkwardly.

Space scoffs. "Yeah right." 

"No its true." I suddenly say. "It happened so suddenly but it's a right choice." 

Everyone sat in shock for a couple moments but soon once everyone thought about the news just shared they started to warm up to the idea.
