Welcome back~ so ayun singit ko lang yung word na 맞아요.

Again, 네 [ne] and 아니요 [aniyo] are focused more on your agreement and disagreement
rather than whether something is true or not, and yung 네 can ALSO mean “I see.” or “Ah-ha.”

And kadalasan yung mga korean people, after saying 'Ne' dinudugtungan nila yon ng word na
맞아요 [ma-ja-yo]

네, 맞아요. [ne, ma-ja-yo] = Yes, that’s right.

Ginagamit to pag sobrang agree ka talaga sa sinasabi niya, hindi lang basta 'Ne' or tango.

Okay, may different way of saying 'good-bye' in Korean, unlike dito na 'bye-bye' o kaya 'paalam' o minsan nga hindi na nag papaalam at basta alis nalang.

Anyways,

So ang pag sasabi ng 'good-bye' in Korean ay depende kung:

1. When you are the one who is leaving.

2. When you are the one who is staying.

Halimbawa ikaw ay aalis galing birthdeyan dala dala ang plastik na may spaghetti at shanghai, at magpapaalam ka na dun sa may birthday, you can say:

안녕히 계세요. [an-nyeong-hi gye-se-yo]

Okie!? Okie.

Pero kung ikaw yung may birthday at magpapaalam kana dun sa mga bisita mong hindi mo naman inimbita at lakas ng loob magsama pa, Joke! Hahaha

you can say:

안녕히 가세요. [an-nyeong-hi ga-se-yo]

Gets!? Gets!^^

Pero minsan sa sobrang bilis magsalita ng mga korean, hindi mo na mapapansin yung pinagkaiba nila at ang maririnig mo nalang ay 'annyeongasdfghjkseyo'

True yan HAHAHA.

So ganiyan yung way of saying good-bye sa kanila but for the literal meaning ang ibig sabihin talaga niyan ay:

안녕히 계세요. = Stay in peace.

안녕히 가세요. = Go in peace.

'Wag niyo nalang pansinin yung literal meaning niya' ^^

죄송 [joe-song] means “apology”, “being sorry” or “feeling ashamed”, and 합니다 [hap-ni-da] means “I do”,

so, 죄송합니다 [joe-song-hap-ni-da] means “I am sorry.” or “I apologize.”.”

TAKE NOTE:

죄송합니다 is NOT always “I’m sorry”.

Even though ang meaning niya talaga ay "I'm sorry", hindi mo siya pwedeng gamitin kapag ang gusto mong sabihin ay "I am sorry to hear that."

This is because 죄송합니다 ONLY means “I apologize.”, “It was my bad.”, “Excuse me.” or “I
shouldn’t have done that.”

It can never mean “I’m sorry to hear that.”

Okie!? Okie.

But then, ang madalas nating naririnig ay ang word na 미안해 ('Mi-an-hae'), 미안 (Mi-an) It means 'Sorry' also pero parang informal way siya ng pag sosorry.

Next, after knowing how to say 'Sorry' in Korean, let's now learn how to say 'Excuse me'

저기요. [jeo-gi-yo]

In English, you can use the expression “Excuse me.” in all of the following situations.

1) when you are passing through a crowd of people

2) when you are leaving the room for a second

3) when you want to get someone’s attention and talk to them or let them know something

4) when you want to call the waiter in a restaurant or a cafe to order something

저기요 [jeo-gi-yo] is an expression that can be translated to “Excuse me” but this Korean
expression, 저기요 is ONLY used for situation number 3 and 4 above.

Kumbaga madalas tong gamitin kapag may tatawagin kang tao at sa restaurant rin esp. pag tatawagin mo yung server para um-order.

How do you say “Excuse me.” when you want to pass through?

Excuse me, dadaan ang reyna~~

You can say:

잠시만요. [jam-si-man-yo] (literal meaning: “Just a second.”)

죄송합니다. [joe-song-ham-ni-da] (literal meaning: “I am sorry.”)

잠깐만요. [jam-kkan-man-yo] (literal meaning: “Just a second.”)

** Yes, “jamsimanyo” and “jamkkanmanyo” are the same thing. At pwede niyo rin tong gamitin na parang 'saglit lang' 'wait' o kaya pag may taong aalis tapos hihigitin mo yung kamay niya yiieeks!
