"Molly,What I'm about to tell you isn't be easy."

I had never seen my aunt so worried since I found out about the creepypastas. I had been snooping through her old room when I found her old diary. It told of crazy stories with killers and monsters. It had amazing adventures full of love, heartbreak, ass-kicking, murder, death, and everything in between. After I had read her diary and asked her about it, she told me the answer to almost every question I asked. She was always reluctant to answer but still did, probably in hopes I would stop asking one day. But with every question answered my interests peaked and even more so on questions she refused to answer.

Now she is looking at me with that same worry and fear as she did all those years ago. I now realise that all of my unanswered questions were for my own safety but I just couldn't get the hint.

"Molly," she started with a shaky breath but quickly regained her composition and looked at me in a serious way "I am what is known here as an off-branch proxy, and now you are too. We are much like the other proxies here. However, while they are techinally immortal, we are not. They live forever while we age. We can take unrealistic amounts of damage and still live, as you can clearly see." She then gestures to my heartless chest. "However, our healing process us much slower then those of a normal proxy. Now I will answer any questions you may have but there are still a few things that I can not tell you. Slender man's rules."

I sat there dumbfounded for what felt like ages before I could find my voice. "S-so you are telling me that I am some form of a supernatural being that normally only exists in folklore, myths and fairytales?"

My aunt simply nodded in response.

"And everything I read in your book is true?" I look at her with a mix of emotion in my eyes, rangeing from dread to hopefulness.

She sighed softly and nodded once more. "Yes. Those weren't just diary entries, those were mission logs as well. I had been instructed to keep record of everything that happened to me while on missions or just simply in the mansion."

I fell silent for a moment before my face dropped a bit "So the one area about you and Laughing Jack was-"

"How about we keep the questions to a more relevant topic shall we?!" She quickly interrupted me with a red face before looking towards the closed door and whispering "There are a few evesdroppers in the mansion and I'd rather them not hear something that personal."

I had to hold back a chuckle as I nodded. I took a moment to think about what to ask. This was all so much to take in at once but over all there was one big question that came to my mind. "So, how does this happen? Like, how do we exist? You are my aunt so it's not exactly genetic right?"

My aunt sat back in her chair and sighed softly. "I figured that would be a question you asked which is why I prepared for it." She got up from the chair and went behind Slender Man's desk and went through a drawer. A few minutes later she pulled out a file and slid it over to me. "A years ago, when you were about 8, you had managed to break your leg and the bone stuck out, you never once cried or complained of much pain. Your mother thought you had somehow severed your nerves in your leg making you unable to feel the pain. However, when the scans all came back your nervous system was completely fine. It was then that I had a thought that you could be like me. I had Ben get a copy of all of your medical records from the day you were born to that day, and tracking it to today. I also took samples of your blood, skin and hair, as well as one of your baby teeth. I brought all the samples here to have them analized by various people here. When you were 10 that's when I got the news from Eyeless Jack that you in fact were like me." She paused to look at me.

"And what are you? Aside from being an off-branch proxy, that is. What makes us so special and different from our family? Or are there others in our family like us? Does our family know about all of this? About us? About all the pastas?" I could hardly hold back my questions as I thought of my little brother, worried he might end up like this too. "What about-"

She raised her hand to silence me as I went to ask another question. "I understand your concern for our family but no, none of them know and that is for their safety like it was yours. As far as all of the labs go you are the only other one with these special genes like me. What we are is still unknown. I've been trying to figure out what I am since I was twenty-one and I came across LJ, or Laughing Jack as you know him. When I met him he tried to kill me, which failed and led to me discovering that I am what I am. Eyeless Jack and a few others tried to kill me too." She let out a laugh then sighed a bit and grew serious again. "But it is of major significance that you do not tell anyone at all about any of this. If someone were to find out the the pastas exist outside of stories and folk lore it can spell major disaster and bring danger to us all. You can't tell anyone, not even your stuffed animals."

I nod quickly "I understand. But, what about my chest? How would I explain that to my mom and dad?"

She shook her head "You won't. They won't even notice a scar once you have healed properly. I'll have everything taken care of and your parents will just assume you are on summer vacation with me in one of my beach houses. But you will actually be staying here at the mansion with me and the others. Though, it would probably be best to keep your stay here low profile, I don't need a certain pervert or two knowing you are here. I would hate to have to try to murder some people."

I knew of who she was talking about. The first was Slender man's brother, Offender man. Just thinking of the name makes me want to shiver. The second could only be an 'ever so loved' video game character and hacker, Ben Drowned. I shook my head a bit and sighed. "So what do I do now?"

"Now," she began and walked over to me. "We get you to the infirmary. You need your heart back in place so you can heal. The others can practically regerate but we can't. If we lose a part on the field, we need to find it before being able to heal. A bit of a set back but it is what it is." She then picks me up with ease and carries me to the door. The door opens with Slender man on the other side who gestures for her to follow him. My aunt looks up at him. "Her heart?"

Slender man nods. "He is waiting in the infirmary to return it. I will make sure everything is sorted out with your family and that hobo heart learns his lesson."

My aunt smiles. "He is lucky my niece is strong and I'm not the one teaching that lesson."

"You are right, your not teaching the lesson." Slender man opens the infirmary door and looks at me. "She is."

"What!?" I look up at him shocked then to my aunt who has turned white like a ghost.
