~:+ 🔪 Killer's POV 🔪 +:~

Horror, Dust, and I decided to make ourselves useful by looking for Ink in different locations of Underswap.

After a while, my head started to ache from the injury. I stopped and clutched the sides of my skull to try and stop it from hurting. Horror and Dust didn't notice that I stopped until Horror tried to talk to me.

"Hey Killz, don't you think this search is pointless?" Horror said, not turning around. When I didn't answer, both skeletons turned around. They realized that I was far behind and made their way back to me.

"Woah, Killer. Are you alright?" Dust asked.

"Uh, Yeah, sorry. These headaches are 'killer' though," I joked, despite the headache. Horror chuckled a little but Dust gave me a serious look.

"Why don't you head back to Blue's house? Horror and I can continue on our own," Dust asked.

I was about to protest but I clenched my teeth shut as the pain in my head worsened.

"Yeah alright... I'll go back," I said, walking off. I heard them say goodbye from behind me but their voices were muffled by the pain.

I walked on wobbly legs until I made it to the Blue's house in Snowdin. I stumbled to the door and leaned against it.

I stayed there for a moment before turning the doorknob and falling into the house as the door moved inwards.

I closed my 'eyes', expecting to meet the floor with my face but I didn't. Instead, I was caught by something. I opened my 'eyes' and saw that I was caught by Nightmare's tentacles.

I glanced over at the couches and saw Nightmare staring at me with a slightly perturbed look. I closed my 'eyes' again, letting my weight sink into the tentacles as I tried to ignore the painful headache.

I kept my 'eyes' shut as the tentacles lifted me up and carried me towards Nightmare. The tentacles' touches were hesitant and gentle. I was put down on one of the couches and opened my 'eyes,' looking at Nightmare. He had a look of uncertainty.

"What happened Killer?" Nightmare asked, with a hint of concern in his voice. I stared at him for a moment before clutching the sides of my skull again.

"My head's killing me," I said in a faltering voice. Suddenly I lost balance in the upper part of my body and leaned against Nightmare. I expected Nightmare to get mad, but he didn't. He just let me lean against him.

"Just... get some rest alright...?" Nightmare said in an uncertain voice. Probably because he wasn't used to acting like this. I nodded slowly and closed my eyes as my headache slowly disappeared.

Killer relaxed next to me, and I gently wrapped my tentacles around him like how a cat's tail would wrap around itself.

I was confused by my own actions. I would normally only touch my gang members when I was mad and punishing them. I yell at them but I have to admit, I care about them. I also hugged Dream earlier.

What's happening to me?

I stared at Killer's face as he slept, feeling my cheeks heat up. I realized I was staring and almost slapped myself.

I growled but put my arms around Killer, holding him close. Soon my eyes grew heavy. I closed them and waited to fall asleep.

~:+ ⭐️ Dream's POV ⭐️ +:~

I walked back to Ink's room. It was no surprise that everyone was gone.

I left the room and trotted downstairs but stopped when I saw Nightmare and killer sleeping side by side.

A smile spread over my face and I walked over, looking at my brother's face. He looked so calm and peaceful. Something I haven't seen in a long time.

All of a sudden, Nightmare opened his eye. When he saw me, his eye widened and he jumped away from Killer.

Killer woke up and fell off the couch head first, since he wasn't leaning on anything anymore.

"Ow... What the hell?" Killer said, wincing as he rubbed his skull.

I looked at Nightmare who was looked at Killer with a look that seemed to have guilt in it for a split second. He turned his head to me, glaring at me as if I'd just killed his whole gang.

Killer grabbed onto the couch and laid there for a moment. Nightmare used his tentacles to lift him back onto the couch, not taking his eyes off me.

"Alright alright, I'll leave," I sighed. Nightmare turned back to Killer and walked over.

"How's your head?" I heard him whisper.

"Bye you two~," I said in a sing-song voice as I quickly left the house.

When I got outside, I saw multiple footprints in the snow, all heading in the same direction.

They led into the forest.

That has to be where Cross, Blue, Ink, and Error are.

I lightly padded into the forest, still determined to fix everything.

~:+ 🎨 Ink's POV 🎨 +:~

When Dream told everyone how I got my emotions, I knew I had to leave. I also knew that if I could feel emotions, I would have broken into tears.

Error reaching for my vials made me run out. I started walking when I got downstairs, thinking that they weren't following at that moment. I was wrong.

I heard Blue call my name, so I quickly opened the door and ran into the forest.

I could hear their footsteps close behind me.

I felt a string touch my hand and I quickly turned around and yanked my hand back so that I wouldn't be caught. Once I did I lept into a bush, making my footprints end.

Hopefully, they didn't see me.

I saw Error, Blue, and Cross stop near my bush.

There's no getting out of this if they saw me...

"Where'd he go!" Blue asked, looking around franticly. I saw Cross shrug.

Error looked in my direction with a thoughtful look in his eyes. He then turned to the other two.

"I don't know where he is. Come this way so we can discuss," Error said, walking back the way they came.

I knew they would still be in the forest somewhere, so I had to sit and wait. I didn't bring Broomie with me so I couldn't portal away.
