the feeling came crawling back as if small spiders settled into the pit of their stomach.

they climbed into her throat as tears welled into her eyes.

she knew she had to get up,
her mother called her across the house,
the smell of bacon filled her nose,
she could almost taste it at the top her tongue.

the mask that she wore latched onto her skin tightly with a familiar skin.

Bailey Kelley, Ridge-wood Schools, 2018, she fills out the paper slowly.

school was not her favorite place,
she had little to no friends.

school wasn't that bad.

lunch was the worst,
she had no friend,
so she sat alone.

the lunch ladies lived in the web.

dear god let this day end.

the hazy feeling of these days all mushed into one.

we are all just as fake as the celebrities.

we sew spider webs onto our lips for the sake of others feelings.

ley was no better, she wore a mask made of spiders;
to hide her sadness.

maybe one day people will learn not to play with spiders;
the toys start biting you as children.

society has to destroy the spiders to find them,

iis se régaleront de ton cœur.

the spiders feast on us as the as the children feast on the muck at school.

the spiders will climb up you're throat forcing you to hold in your feelings.
