"Aph!" He stands up, wrapping his arms around me and lifts me into the air. I wrap my arms around his neck and hug him back.
"I missed you too." I mock his voice. He only laughs and puts me down with his arms still around me. Melissa takes off her helmet and she's smiling.
"Oh my Irene, you guys actually are together!" She squeals, "You're adorable!" Aaron starts blushing.
"Mel? You're still here?" I let go of Aaron so he could go hug her. He does so and she hugs him back. "I thought you would've left a long time ago!"
"And let him kill my brother? No way. Thank her, she found me before I could leave." She refers to me. He looks at me and holds his arms out. I walk over and wrap my arms around him, resting my head on his chest.
"You're amazing, you know that?"
"I've been told that a few times." Then I realize something. People came here for a show. May as well not disappoint them. "Hey, this is going to be super weird, but Melissa, can you pass me my helmet?"
"I'm sorry, what?"
"I'm about to take out to the arena. I need my helmet please." I ask again, holding out my hand.
"Are you crazy? You're going to get him killed!"
"Am I crazy? Maybe a little. But Aaron isn't dying today." I say, "I'm about to make history. Helmet please, we don't have much time." I look at the clock. 11:57.
"Don't get him killed." She hands me my helmet and I pick it on, adjusting it and I hold Aaron's hands behind his back.
"You have the right to remain silent, Mr. Lycan."
"Melissa, help me." I respond and I tighten my grip on his wrists.
"You have the right to remain silent, Mr. Lycan." I repeat myself, pushing him out of the tent.

"Welcome to the Ultima's Ultimate Execution!" Dad speaks into a microphone in the middle of the arena, earning screams and chants and cheers from the crowd. "Today is the day we can mark in the history books that I ended the Ultima Race and there will be millions to witness it." He points to all of the camera around the arena. "But let me stop talking. Ladies and gentlemen, the Ultima werewolf himself!"
I have Aaron's hands still behind his back. "Before we go out there, I want you to know that I got your back." I say as I start pushing him to the middle of the floor. As we walk, thousands of screams and cheer fly through the air. Signs and flags wave in the air and there's dancers performing their little dance routine.
"Thank you, Dunn." He refers to my name tag. I just nod as a response. "This is the face of a generation that could kill us in seconds. Here is the last look he'll ever have. Men, fire up the guns!" He talks to three men behind fire guns and they load it up. He backs away from Aaron and I scoot over to him, but I'm still close to Aaron.
"Ten! Nine! Eight! Seven!..."
"I've got you, Aaron. I've got us." I whisper.
"Four! Thr..." I take my helmet off and throw it to the ground. He looks over to see what the bang was. "WAIT WAIT HOLD YOUR FIRE!" My dad stops counting and the guns were lowered. "Mi Hija, what are you doing?"
I take the microphone from my dad, "My name is Aphmau Everton and I've fallen for the Ultima." I announce. The crowd gasps and some boo. I walk over to Aaron and I intertwine our fingers together. "So what? He may be an Ultima, but he's a person, just like the rest of us. Why are you all so quick to judge him based off of some legend you heard when you don't even know him?"
