"Ah. Finally." Minjae sighed in relief as he stepped out of the school building. He started to walk towards his car to wait for his friends. As he was walking, he walked past a bush with a bench in front of it. Minjae scanned the bush, and scoffed quietly. He sat down on the bench, and took out his phone. He could definitely tell there was a person behind the bush.

"You know you really stand out behind there." He said while pointing his head to the right a little. The person stuck their head out of the bush, and Minjae turned his head around. Minjae smiled softly when he recognized the boy's face. The boy just looked into Minjae's eyes with a startled, yet curious look.

"Where'd that bitch go?!" Minjae turned his head, surprised by the random question. The boy scrambled back into bush, "You never saw me." He whispered sharply. Minjae got the hint, and figured that the approaching duo of 3rd years were trying to find him. He crossed his left leg over his right, and pretended to be texting. "It's over there! Hiding in that bush." One of the two yelled. When he saw the two stop in front of him, he looked up and glared.

"You got a problem?" The one who had spoke earlier asked with his arms crossed. Minjae stuffed his phone in his pocket, and stood up. He was a good 2-3 centimeters taller then them. The second guy looked around Minjae's shoulder, and scanned the bush. Minjae stepped closer to the two. "What if I do?" He asked, still glaring.

"Look buddy, if you move aside we can avoid conflict. A pretty boy like you would want that right?" The guy replied.

"Oh...so I'm a pretty boy now. You know what? If a pretty boy like me doesn't move aside, what are you gonna do? Punch me? Beat me up?" Minjae scoffed while shoving his hands into his pockets. The guy clenched his fists, and lifted his arm. He swung his arm at Minjae with full force. Minjae didn't even flinch. He looked at the hand that had stopped the punch from landing on him. Huijun shoved the bully's fist away from Minjae, and stood in front of him with his fists up.

The bully's friend managed to drag him away from Huijun, because he knew that Huijun was a great fighter. Huijun was sprinting towards the two bully's at full speed, making sure that the two got away. Minjae watched his friend chase them away, but then averted his attention back to the bush behind him. He peaked behind the bush, and the boy was still there. He held his hands over his ears, and his breathing was unsteady.

Minjae stepped into the soil of the mini garden, and kneeled across from him. He placed his hand on the scared boy's head, and he slowly opened his eyes.

They're gonna beat him up.

It's gonna be my fault.

He's gonna die.

He's gonna die.

He's gonna die.

He's gonna-

Seungmin felt a hand on his head. He slowly opened his eyes, and saw Strawberry kneeling in front of him. "It's ok. They're gone." The pink head said softly. Seungmin sighed deeply and uncovered his ears. Strawberry patted his head for a few seconds, before lifting his hand away to balance himself on the soil.

"Sorry." Seungmin said after a few moments. Strawberry smiled slightly, "why are you apologizing? You have nothing to be sorry for," he paused, "people like that should be the ones apologizing."

Seungmin only hummed softly in response. The two stayed silent for a few moments, before Seungmin heard a yelling voice.

"Minjae! Are you ok? Wait- where did you go?" An unfamiliar voice yelled. Strawberry stood up, and looked around the bush. He looked back to Seungmin, and held out his hand. Seungmin hesitated, but then grabbed it. Strawberry helped him to his feet, and the two came out from the bush. The two came face to face with a person that Seungmin didn't recognize.

"Sorry about that Huijun." Strawberry said to the person. Huijun punched Strawberry's shoulder before looking at Seungmin. "So who's this shorty?" Huijun asked. Minjae scratched the back of his neck with his free hand.

"I'm Seungmin." Seungmin said politely. Huijun nodded, and looked back to Strawberry.

"So I guess you and Minjae know each other." Huijun said while looking at their hands. Minjae and Seungmin quickly separated their hands. Huijun snorted in laughter, "So Minjae, you actually are ga-" Huijun was cut off by Minjae, who had kicked his shin.

Seungmin looked to the side, and gulped. Minjae noticed this, and tapped Seungmin's shoulder.

"I'll walk you home...I mean just in case those jerks come back." Seungmin lifted his head to look up at Minjae. His lips were separated slightly, he was surprised by the sudden request. Seungmin nodded once, before smiling widely. Huijun looked at the two with a smug grin.

"Oh okay...I'll leave you two be. SeongJun'll be pissed though. Good luck when you get back to the house." Huijun said while slowly walking backwards. Seungmin straightened his bag straps around his shoulders, and started to lead Minjae away from the school.

The two walked in a surprisingly comfortable silence. Seungmin, for once, felt safe in the presence of a human being.
