Four Hours Earlier
Sleep. The greatest thing that could ever exist. The relaxation of muscles, the peacefulness of zero disturbances, forgetting almost all your worries-

"Minjae!" Was the last thing he heard before getting tackled by his neighbor, also best friend. Minjae pushed him off the bed, and groaned loudly.

"Huijun, I can wake myself up." Minjae said while looking down at his phone. Huijun rolled his eyes, and pointed at his phone. "You forgot to set an alarm again, if I hadn't come in here you wouldn't have woken up anytime soon."

Minjae lazily pushed himself out of the covers of his bed, and purposely stepping on Huijun's arm while he made his way to his closet. Huijun grabbed Minjae's ankle, and pulled him down to the floor with him.

"What the hell?" Minjae complained. He flipped Huijun onto his back, and the two started roughhousing like they were only 10.

The two stopped when they heard the door creak open. They both look at the doorway, and there stood SeongJun. He looked at two, who were now sprawled out on the floor, out of breath.

"Just...get ready." He complied. Huijun helped Minjae onto his feet, and walked out of the room with SeongJun. Minjae opened his closet, and grabbed the nearest pair sweatshirt and jeans he could find. He didn't have his school uniform yet, so this would do for him.

Once he finished dressing himself, he looked into his mirror and shuffled his hair a few times. When he was satisfied, he went downstairs to meet his friends.

"Save some for Minjae...Don't give me that look young man." Minjae enter the kitchen to see Huijun's mother pushing her son away from a pot of boiling dumplings. SeongJun was busy looking through the multiple textbooks they were mailed.

Minjae, Huijun, and SeongJun lived right next to each other. Huijun and his family often visited Minjae, because his parents were never around to take care of him. Mrs. No was basically Minjae's mother figure, and Huijun was like his brother. SeongJun's father was closely related with Minjae's father. The two are expected to work together once their fathers retire. Besides business matters, all three were close for other reasons.

"Minjae, are you gonna eat?" Huijun asked, horribly hiding the fact he was still 'starving'. Minjae rolled his eyes and shook his head. Huijun clenched his fist in victory, and scooped up the remaining dumplings from the pot. Mrs. No patted Minjae's shoulder, "Make sure to eat a big lunch then." Minjae nodded slowly, and turned to walk to SeongJun.

"So what's the school called again?" Minjae asked while plopping down on the couch next to the older. "It has some long name, but I'm pretty sure it's called MCNS for short or something." The pink-head nodded, and he stood up. He grabbed his textbooks, and proceeded to put them into his bag. He took his phone from his pocket, and glanced at the time.

"If you guys wanna get to school in time, you better head out now." Mrs. No yelled from the kitchen. Huijun grabbed his bag, and was followed by SeongJun. The three said their goodbyes to Huijun's mother. They all entered Minjae's car, and the three set off.
