Scene Three:

March 23, 2012

DS CHAMBERS running the fastest he could out of his car to the destination he was called, ESME SMITH'S house. What happened?

P ANTHONY H. Oh hello DS CHAMBERS again. We got a call from the fire department to go to MS. ESME SMITH house. We were told that she was expanding her living room, then she noticed that one of the walls was smelling horrible. Since the wall was half open, she tried to see where the stench might be coming from. She couldn't find anything so she called the fire department to see if there was a gas leakage. Then they called us.

DS CHAMBERS Why did you stop midway, if I was called here for a gas leakage–

P ANTHONY H. Oh no... it was not a gas leakage; we found a body in between the walls. Forensics are on their way as we're speaking.

DS CHAMBERS Good

F FABIAN M. You too talking is blocking the entryway, please move so my team can take the body and analyze the crime scene.

DS CHAMBERS All you have to do is ask. Please do your job and let me know the situation soon. Before leaving DS CHAMBERS noticed that the body was in a clear body bag.

Two weeks later...

DS CHAMBERS Sir, this case the just like the one from last year.

HEAD OF COMMAND Gerard, we have so many cases a month, this is Bristol, it's a huge city.

DS CHAMBERS Sorry sir I meant to say this case, is very alike to the case you claimed closed. The one which would probably be a cold case in the future. The one which we found no leads and–

HEAD OF COMMAND (annoyed) I know what case you're talking about. Did you find anything this time?

DS CHAMBERS Unfortunately, no sir. All we know is that this woman's name is RENEE VARGAS. She was in her early twenties, didn't have a stable job, went around with many men. But all of them had a strong alibi so, they are cleared. What is sad, is that not only did she die but she was also two weeks pregnant. Poor child wasn't even born...

HEAD OF COMMAND CHAMBERS! Focus tell me about the autopsy.

DS CHAMBERS Right sorry sir. It seems that she was murdered on August 28, 2010. There was signs of broken wrists and ankles, nose, and there was a dent on the skull. She had no family, the ones who wrote a missing report was one of her boyfriends.

HEAD OF COMMAND What else about him, did you get more information of him.

DS CHAMBERS Of course sir. He had a strong alibi, we even brought him in twice. Sir it's been two weeks and we haven't even got a lead on this case. Not even a SINGLE mishap, fingerprint, unknown DNA found in the body bag, anything!

HEAD OF COMMAND I understand, whoever murdered this person is surely smart, not leaving anything behind. Well even if we had anything on the pervious case, we possibly could connect the two cases. However, we have nothing. So, as Head of Command I can say is case closed. Carry on with your work now.

DS CHAMBERS Yes sir.
