Scene Five:

Yet again another body was found and yet again it was claimed a closed case. But how can a case be closed when they haven't found the murderer. The whole city became chaotic, started hating everyone in the station for allowing that to happen. It was obvious to even a blind man, that it was a serial killer. Four women killed the same exact way, and found the same exact way. The city peoples went crazy throwing hate towards everyone at the station. Epically the HEAD OF COMMAND approving to close a case when for 4 years it has been open, and each year of neglect, caused a death. The HEAD OF COMMAND could lose his job. He had to do something.

DS CHAMBERS's phone rang early morning. He was still asleep. Suddenly he got startled and woke up, after all he's a detective he needs to answer all phone calls at all times. It was HEAD OF COMMAND. Yes sir

HEAD OF COMMAND Good you got up. I want you to stop by at DS ATHERTON's house. Let her know I need her to come back. I'm begging for her help. And while you're there give her all the information of the cases of 2010. I'm only making you in charge since you have more experience with this case. However, to be frank, she's way better that this job than you. So, step up your game and work together with DS ATHERTON on this case and find the guy.

DS CHAMBERS Yes sir you can count on us.

4 hours later

DS CHAMBERS exits his car and knocked on DS ATHERTON's house.

DS ATHERTON Oh, wow what a surprise, couldn't you tell me you were coming...Wait you never come. What happened? Are you getting married, did someone pass away? What happened?

DS CHAMBERS (mumbles to himself) and she's the better one.

DS ATHERTON What was that?

DS CHAMBERS What, no I didn't say anything.

DS ATHERTON Okay, a glass of water?

DS CHAMBERS Sure

DS ATHERTON walks towards the kitchen to fetch a glass and opens the refrigerator to grab the water. (mumbles to herself) Coward. (talking normal now) So, what can I do for you?

DS CHAMBERS HEAD OF COMMAND is begging that you come back and help with the cases of 2010.

DS ATHERTON Oh, of course I can help. I'm finally free, the children left for a boarding school a month ago, it was very expensive... Oh and did I tell you, my husband is asking for a divorce. So, of course getting back to my life would mean getting back to my job. I would love to help.

DS CHAMBERS Okay grea–

DS ATHERTON No need for any information, I already know that you know nothing John told me. So, I began to look into it myself. I'm still not quite sure but I think I know who did it.
