Sleep Forever Now My Darling II.
An Andy Biersack love story.I couldn't hear my dad, he must have passed out, or left. Dressing myself slowly due to the ache in my limbs I struggled to get my jeans on. before I put my top on I looked at my side in the mirror opposite my bed, it was very badly bruised, I gently touched the purple skin, I yelped as the pain stuck, I'm surprised he didn't break my ribs. Putting my long sleeved top then jacket on, then walking to the bathroom I cleaned my teeth, smiling a fake smile at the mirror, trying to convince myself I was okay, but that was a lie, I wasn't okay, I'd probably never be okay.
Stairs creaking as I walked down them, dad was no where to be found, he'd gone out then, where I don't know, but if I had to guess, it'd be the pub. I let out a breath of relief. Pouring the milk into my bowl of breakfast, I ate quickly, wanting to be gone by the time he got back. A nock on the door, made me freeze, who was it? He can't be home already, with the amount he drunk last night I'm surprised he even managed to get up, I glanced at the clock, it was already twelve. I walked down the hallway, gulping in fear, it wouldn't be a friend, I didn't have those.
I unlocked then opened the door, my song book was thrown at me, "see you in school on Monday." And with that Michael, the bigger bully, left. I had it back at least. He would usually wait until school to burn my things with his lighter.
I went back inside, finished my breakfast, put my song book back in my bag that was still there after last night and walked outside. The fresh air of the outdoors welcomed me, looking to see if he was still there waiting for me to hurt again with the rest if the gang, I set down the path that lead to the park. As I walked I again listened to the noise of my shoes against the floor, it was comforting. When I neared my destination I sped up slightly, and found my spot against the tree in the shade. Here I could see everything, the ducks and swans in the large pond, of which their were several young children with their parents throwing bread for them. The dog walkers, throwing balls only for theirs dogs to bring them back. The kids running up and down. It was warm for December, but still rather cold.
I got out my homework and got to work. I liked being alone, reminds me of the time I could be alone in my own room, when beer wasn't always overflowing the fridge. Forgive him, never, we were facing losing our home. I never met mother, but I can tell she'd be disappointed. When looking up from my work, I noticed a figure, tall, thin, male I think, it was far away, but I got the sense it was watching me. Looking back down I continued my work, looking up every so often to so if it moved away, it didn't.
I began to feel uncomfortable, I don't like attention at all, and the fact there was a creepy man in the trees staring at me. Getting up I decided to go into the cafe, to warm up by buying a hot chocolate with the money I got from babysitting and dog walking, I had to buy everything I got. I walked in, the chimes of the door musically announcing my arrival, it was very warm in here. After ordering I sat in the window seat, the only one left, but right where I needed it. Looking out the window i realised, it was gone, the man was gone, had I imagined it?
I sipped my drink, I was getting paranoid, it was probably just a tree or something. I looked out the window one last time, and I could have sworn I saw something move...
A/N Sorry it's a short chapter, life happened, I shall try to update at least once a week on Sundays. Ha I left it on a picture hanger (coz cliffs are too mainstream.) Until next time, please comment! Chao!
