Waking up and realising that your mom isn't alive anymore, sucks. It was difficult adapting to just my dad. Luckily I still had him. But I felt like that was going to go away soon too, though. I woke up and realised that my arm is still the same bright red color it was yesterday. Maybe I should talk to my dad about it. "Hey, Dad?" he looked up at me with red, puffy, eyes. "I think there's something wrong with my embediment. It's really red and it hurts." I pulled up my sleeve and showed him, and he gasped. "When did this happen, Mercy?" my eyes widened at his alerted voice. "Uh, I believe yesterday, why? Is it bad!" My eyes started watering and I got this pain in my chest. My breath hitched and I realised that I needed to calm down. I was overracting, clearly nothing was wrong.

"We need to leave. Grab and overnight bag. We're going to the hospital. This needs to be looked at." I looked and him and sighed, "Dad, It's nothing serious." His eyes were nearly bulging out of his eyes. "The fuck it is Mercy! This is urgent and I am taking you the hospital whether you like it or not!" I shook my head. "No, I'm not. Its not that fucking serious dad! It's just a fucking phase! It'll go away." he threw the nearest thing and he ran up the stairs. He was overreacting. Right? I sighed and went up to my room and onto the small balcony out there. It connected with 3 other rooms. My parents room is to the far right. I sighed and saw my dad pull out of the driveway, and driving away and down the road. I walked back downstairs and he left a note saying he was going to be out for a while.

Sitting on the couch, bundled up and watching American Horror Story was life. My eyes began to get droopy. I closed them and before I knew it, I was asleep. I was slightly awoken to a banging. I sat up, alerted. I looked around but I didnt see anything. It was pitch black. Even though I couldnt see anything, the TV screen had static covering it. I was panicing. I heard heavy footsteps, loudly behind me. "I've been waiting. For so long have I waited for this day. I didn't think it would go like this, I thought you would've been more, scared." you could feel his smirk, but you couldn't see it. "Who are you, and what do you want?" he laughed, sort of like a cackle.

"You should know, I mean, with our glowing embediment." you could see the bright red word, glowing brightly. I looked and mine and his, back and forth, both of them slowly fading. "You know I'm glad you rejected your fathers plea for help, and didnt go to the hospital. I'm not really in the mood to kill anybody right now. Especially not my soon-to-be father in law. That would be a shame now wouldnt it? Too bad the mother in law is dead. All she had to do was keep quiet and simply not scream. But sadly, I had to kill her. For the fun anyways." I was crying by now. The heavieness in my chest was making my mind nearly go blank. I didn't know what to think. I don't think anybody would know what to do at a moment like this though. You can't blame them. "What do you want! I'll give you anything! Please, just leave my dad alone. I'd rather you take me then him." Honestly I didnt believe that bullshit that just swam out of my mouth. I was stooping to his level, and this isnt like me. Not at all. "Ha! You actually thought I would fucking listen to you? You're the definition of naïve." I chuckled. Considering this wasn't the moment. "You think I'm scared. Im not." I spat. "I made the poor decision to stoop to you. Thats was obviously a mistake. Im hungry. Want some food?" His face was empty. Emotionless. Perfect. "What the hell?" He yelled. "I don't want fucking food! I want your dad fucking dead and you with me! This is no time for bullshit." The clinking of a gun was heard and the shiny barrel was pointed at my face. "Do it. I dare you." He smirked. The moon showing his smug look.

"How do you know I won't?" Now it was my turn to smirk. "Because of our embediments, right?" I raised my arm to show the slightly, pink glowing, mark on my arm. His face fell, but a sturdy look was still there. No breaking was going to happen anytime soon. "So, are you hungry? I'm making food. You're welcome to have some!" I smiled and went into my kitchen. A gun was fired and I could feel the bullet pass my face by inches. "Sit the fuck down, NOW!" The smile disappeared away from my face. "Well someone shit in your cornflakes." I crossed my arms and went sit on my couch. He grabbed my arm tightly and dragged me out of my own house. "Say goodbye. Because your not coming back." he started to laugh loudly. "At least let me write a note telling him that I am leaving him." he grunted. "No, that wouldn't work. It would create suspiscion. Too risky. We could always fake your death or something later on when the police get on our asses." I sighed and nodded, him laughing and tying a tight ripe aroud my wrists.
