Night.
He read the text message before putting his phone away. He sighed turning turning off his phone and putting his glasses beside his bed.
I wonder if it's a boy or a girl. Wait what if they don't have a gender. He thought to himself.
Richie Tozier laughed at himself quietly. He's known this person for what? A little over a year now and he doesn't even known the persons gender or name.
He knows they are obviously in the same grade and school as him, as that is how they met. Richie had put a sticky note in a secret place asking for homework answers in exchange for homework answers leaving his phones number on it. He wasn't expecting someone to find it but apparently they did and now the two messages whenever they needed an answer to something. Luckily they both are different string suits. Richie was great at human biology and math while the stranger was great at science and English. Both being Richie's weak classes.
Hmm I wonder if the person is hot.
No, Richie thought. He can't think that. What if this person is ugly? Or what if they're like, *shudders* a girl. Ya Richie was bisexual, but he was more of a 99% guys and 1% very specific girls. By 1% he means one girl, but she's in the past now.
Richie eventually fell into slumber, his dreams random blurs of strange events. Richie did have one dream he did remember when he awoke the next morning. It was clear in most parts but fuzzy in the rest.
He had dreamed he had met this anonymous person. Anything about them was fuzzy but the events weren't. Richie and Anonymous had met up at the ice cream parlour, they had talked and gotten along. In his dream they had become really good friends, then a little more. Just as he and the person were gonna kiss in his dreams, Richie woke up.
He rolled out of bed sighing in annoyance. He always wakes up at the best parts. He threw on some clothes from his floor and grabbed his backpack and went down the stairs. His mom was at work already and his dad was probably sleeping still so richie decided to grab a banana and walk to school.
It was late May, the snow had melted and the grass was getting greener by the day. The leaves on the trees grew back and yellow dandelions and other weeds littered the ground. Children ran towards bus stops in bundles while parents and older siblings waved goodbye. Richies eyes scanned every person in every car making sure it wasn't Bowers and his gang. He thought himself lucky as he hadn't even past the gang all the way to school. He checked the time on his phone and realized the reason he hadn't past Bowers was because he was going to be late.
Fuck
He ran the rest of the way inside the building just as the bell rang. He believed he had everything in he needed for his first two classes in his backpack already so he skipped his locker and just ran to class. All was good he was gonna make it just in time. Until, he ran into someone.
"Watch where you're going you idiot..." the person he had ran into mumbled rubbing his arm on which he had landed on. The person looked up, with Richie identified as a boy with curly sandy brown coloured hair, the boys face turning red.
"Sorry." The guy whispered standing up whose eyed. How the guy managed to look afraid of richie but also glare at him amazed Richie. Richie picked up his stuff and noticed a book that wasn't his.
"Hey is this yours? And sorry for running into you." Richie said with a smile. The guy grabbed the book and whispered thanks while looking to see if the book had any traces of damage.
"I'm Tozier, Richie Tozier." Richie said putting on his usual smirk. The guy looked at him, scared, then glared, then looked back at the book.
"I know." He mumbled. Richie looked around awkward and saw they where the only ones in the hallway.
"And you are??" Richie asked dragging out the last word.
"None of your business." The guy glared walking away. Richie looked at him debating if he should go after the guy, until he realized he was now late for class.
"Oh fuck."
