Richie sat at his small desk in his room chewing on a pencil. His paper was littered with doodles, barely any of it having an actual work covering it. He didn't care it was due tomorrow. Ya he had an entire week to figure out the work, but he also had a week to procrastinate and doing nothing. You can imagine which one seemed more appealing to Richie.
So here he sat, which one day till it was due and having no idea how to do it. Richie debated asking Beverly or Bill about it but decided against it. Beverly would probably say sucks to be you and Bill would go on a while explanation on how to do it while also giving him a lecture on why he should have done this a week ago.
Wait a damn minute Richie thought as a light bulb went on in his head. He grinned and grabbed his phone, knowing this specific ally would just give him the answers.

Heyyyyy
sO I need help
*read 4:10pm*Richie say there shocked not knowing what to do. He put his phone on his desk and stared for a long while at the electronic. They had never ignored one another, not left the other on read unless it was the end of their conversation. Something could be wrong, but if something was wrong why would the guy take the time to read the message?
Honestly Richie felt hurt. He knew the other person had a real life, but he didn't care. He had thought they had something special. He sighed telling himself to not get butt hurt over something as stupid like this. He wouldn't care if Bill left him on read so why did he care about some stranger doing it. He decided to go to the quarry to clear his head.
Richie looked at his room debating if he needed anything. He walked out of his house coming to the conclusion that he wouldn't be there for very long. He grabbed his bike and biked off. The light breeze was comforting and kind and Richie enjoyed it. The silence was nice right now. No one to bother him. Richie took a few detours to make the ride longer. Surprisingly the loud rambunctious teenager did enjoy peace and quiet once in a while. Richie really loved one specific quote, he had no idea who it was by or when it was made but he really thought it was smart.
Being alone doesn't mean being lonely
As Richie approached the quarry he heard people talking. He cocked his head ti the side in confusion getting ready to fight whoever was there. He leaned his bike against a tree a ways a way and slowly and stealthily made his way to the voices.
He crouched behind a bush and saw two people. He remembered one from class that day, the new kid. Richie couldn't have bothered to remember his name. But the other, Richie recognized immediately. It was marshmallow. He saw the two laughing together and talking to care free and Richies heart ached.
He felt saddened, but he was also boiling in rage. He had tried to become friends with marshmallow but was rejected, but a new kid who came today is suddenly best friends with him? That was not fair richie thought bitterly. He thought about going over there but decided to just walk away and go home. Marshmallow didn't seem like the kind of guy who wanted to see fights. He got on his bike taking one last glance at the quarry before peddling away.
Why did I care about this loser anyways?
Richie laughed at himself mentally. It wasn't just this loser. The anonymous person as well. Two people who didn't even know Richie at all, but yet Richie wanted to get to know both of them.
Maybe I just want more friends, Richie thought to himself. That seemed valid enough. Richie nodded at his small conclusion and biked the rest of the way home. He didn't go inside however. Richie ran straight to his backyard and laid on the grass. He pulled out his earbuds from his pocket, plugging them into his phone. He pressed shuffle and Bicycle Race by Queen came on. He set his phone aside content with the song choice before looking at the blue sky. The darker shades mixed in with the lighter shades and the fluffy clouds created an amazing blend which made the sky look like a canvas filled with paint.
Richie stayed out there for hours trying to forget the day. In the mean time he had forgotten all about the homework but he couldn't care less. Enjoy every moment, for you never know which is your last.
