"What importance do you have in this world that only the strongest survive?"

"Y/N, did I lose you again?" Rei looked at you with her eyes shadowed by her glasses. "Do you have something on your mind that is troubling you?"

"You don't have a purpose, you were always running around finding something that could never fill the void."

"Oh, I'm alright." You lied, smiling.

Rei eyes dropped, but she didn't force you to tell every drop of what was causing you distressed. She just sat next to you, both of you enjoying each others company.

"Someone ought of put you in your place, where you belong mittens."

You clenched your teeth, firmly grasping the edge of your shirt.

"You lied to me." Rei said, her eyes looking down on. "Why must you do that? I'm here for you."

"It's hard to explain. Something I can't look back on, something that haunted me - scarred me." You said, breathlessly. "It's a long story."

"Wouldn't it be better to understand that your use is small, once we're done you'll be thrown away."

"I won't hurt you. I will drown you in treasures." She smiled. "Because, love is a crazy sensation."

"Love?" You cried.

"Of course, but you must promise me one thing," She said. "You must always show me your true self, and not your other half that others think down upon. Stop being two-faced, and be what I fallen for."

"I'm sorry." You said, ashamed.

"Now." Rei took your hand. "Don't dwell on it, you'll only hurt yourself in the process."

"Thank you, Rei." You squeezed her hand. "I do know where I'll be if it wasn't for you."

"Don't thank me." She said. "Be happy. You have purpose that others take for granted. Let those wings fly." She kissed your hand.

"Because you'll never know what will happen tomorrow."
