Chapter Four

Bella's POV

It's been 2 weeks since Rose kissed me and she been avoiding me and hanging out with Royce more.

I looked over to the window showing Royce kissing Rose's hand. He's been doing that for 1 week now every time Rose was alone.

She came inside and looked over to me then back to her mother, "hello mother." She smiled, "oh Bella is in the living room."

I just turned over on the couch. You think this is awkward but it's worse sharing a bed with her. This is all because of that day in the garage the kiss.

It's was the best and worst mistake of my life. Her soft lips against mine. The way my body shivered against her's like my life was complete but no.

I've screwed everything up but why am I even feeling this way anyway Edward is my mate right? Well I mean he did say I was nothing but a toy to him. Then left me in a forest with a psychopathic vampire after me.

But Rose this Rose. I like her she is sweet and yes can still be a bit of an ice queen but she's never like that towards me. I just wish I could stay with her hell maybe I am maybe that's why I was sent here to stay with Rose.

But then again Rose is 18 which means she'll die soon. I can't let that happen I swear I will protect my Rose from her death. Even if she refuses to talk to me I need to save her.

Give her the life she has always wanted a child, a loving husband. All things I can't personally give her but that's okay as long as she is happy.

I went to the bedroom that night and looked over to Rose, "Rose I need to talk to you." She turned to me, "look I am sorry about what happened in the garage but can you please stop avoiding me..."

"I need to focus on my future husband Isabella. As soon as we are married I will have to bare him children I can't get it messed up because of a stranger."

I flinched, "I'm sorry I can't give you what you want Rose but I can step out of the way for you." I felt like I did in that forest again and I started crying. "I'll move away and let you move on with your life."

I got up and got my clean clothes that Mary washed for me then took off Rose's father's clothes and folded them up neatly.

"Bella..." I put on my old clothes that I can to here in then turned back. "I'll be out of your hair now Rosalie hopefully I will see you around."

I walked out of Rose's room then downstairs then out the door. "Bella?" I turn to see Mary Rose's mother, "hey Mary I need to go thank you for your hospitality." I walked out of the house.
