Your POV:
It had been 2 years of the same screaming and yelling in my household. What was going on?

Well, ever since I was born, my father had been threatening and yelling at my mom to get rid of me. I'd always lock myself in my room; cancelling all the sounds with soft music.

I've always hated loud sounds. That's why Present Mic and I don't really get along with eachother....

The next day... (the culture festival)

The walk to school was normal, my body leaned forward, gripping my bag straps, not caring about how gloomy I looked. I dragged my feet into the backstage of the concert since my class was going to preform there next.

Thanks to Yaoyorozu's help, I had her makeshift ear plugs in to keep out every noise.

That until a girl from my class boomed music all over the school grounds. Jirou Kyoka. I was on top of the roof with Kirishima, Sero, Todoroki, Koda and other members.

Hearing her voice made me want to cry. Too loud...

So, I did. I balled my eyes out.

"Hey Y/n! What's wrong man?!" Kirishima held my hands.

"N-nothing... it's just... so loud..." I didn't hear her singing, in fact, all I heard was my mom begging for my dad to stop yelling.

"Kiri-! Y/N! Holy crap are you okay?!" Sero came and comforted me too.

I shook my head and started to block my ears. Even though I still had my earplugs in.

After the show...

"Hey Y/N!" a familiar shout said in the distance. I saw it was Jirou.

"Are you okay?! Kirishima told me what happened and I'm sorry-"

I curled up in a ball on the floor, cutting her sentence off.

"... it's okay Kyoka... it's not your fault" I curled up even tighter.

I then felt her hand grab my chin and force me to look at her. She leaned in closer; to the point where our foreheads were touching.

She moved her left earphone jack to her shoulder and her right earphone on the side of my face. I could feel her pulse. Her heartbeat graciously humming. It was loud. So loud. But...

It sounded beautiful.
