DISCLAIMER Gwenllian is a member of the House of Abberfraw, which was begun after the death of Rhodri The Great of Gwynedd. Rhodri himself was alive and reigning during the invasion of England by the Great Heathen Army. He actually only died in the 870s, after Ivar The Boneless. However, as Vikings does not follow the factual historical timeline, I've decided to change some of this for purely creative purposes. I try to keep my books as historically accurate as possible as I do actually specialize in the this area of history, however as the timeline in Vikings is a bit screwed up, I decided I would set Gwenllian's character after the foundation of Aberffraw. Obviously, Gwenllian was not a real person or queen and is only an OC of my creation, but she is loosely based upon Morgana (Morgan Le Fay) and Gwenllian Ferch Gruffydd who was very cool and I sincerely suggest you look into her. Anyways enjoy the book and sorry for the timeline change :)
