Part 4- the morning

The next morning I woke up on the couch with my head on nick. He was shirtless and was wearing what looked like chases pajama pants. I looked down at myself to find that I was wearing a guys shirt tgat had never seen before. The pounding in my head was unbearable.
I walked into the kitchen to find ryland sitting at the counter drinking some coffee. Things had been weird between us for a while but I was determined for things to go back to the way they used to be
'Haha hey y/n, someone looks like a complete mess' he laughed
'Ha Ha very funny' I smiled sarcastically
'Hey what happened last night?' I asked as I swallloed a pill of panadol
'Well while you were playing beer pong nick got into a massive fight with kio, kio knocked him down and then we placed him on the couch and threw kio out. It was pretty intense. You on the other hand went up stairs to get changed after the party simmered down and you couldn't find your way to Nick room so I just gave you one of my shirts' he replied
'Jesus, that sounds insaine' I sighed
'Is nick alright?' I asked
'Yeah his fine I think, by the way I met someone at the party' he smiled
'Omg who?' I smiled excitedly
'This girl called chloe, she live in New York but we get along really well' I could tell that he was happy, in fact I hadn't seen him this happy in a long time
'That's so great ryland, you deserve to be happy' I smiled
'Thanks y/n.. oh I'm I should go' Ryland said as he looked behind me and walked off. Nick was standing there with a black eye
'Hey are you alright, I'm was totally out of it last night' I said as sat down at the bench
'Yup' he said coldly
'Why did you get into a fight with kio' I asked
'Oh please y/n, it wasn't okay for him to call you gorgeous, he's confusing you once again' he rolled his eyes
'What do you mean confusing me?' I asked
'Well I don't know, you called me kio last night and I'm not gonna lie it sucked hard. You must've been thinking about him' he said as he slumped down in the chair next to me
'Are you crazy, I'm not confused nick, I love you, not kio'i replied
'Well then why did you call me him last night' he answered
'Nick I was drunk and tired, I didn't know the difference between my left and right hand, I kissed mads because I thought it was you, I called jaden Quinton all night and I called you kio, none of it meant anything' I answered as I placed my hand on top of his
'You sure?' I could hear the hope in his voice
'Positive, why are you still so threatened by kio anyway?' I asked as I took a sip of my coffee
'He was your first love, your first everything was with him and I'm just the runner up. It's like a movie, I'm here but everyone feels like your gonna end up with kio, I'm just the side character waiting like a ticking time bomb for you to dump me for him' he moped
'Nick Austin, your no side charater, your the major love interest in my story. Kio is like the evil ex that keeps showing up everywhere and your the price charming who saves me from him. Trust me Nicolas I will never choose someone over you' and those words were true. Especially the last sentence because I'm not ever gonna choose someone over nick but something else is coming. Emerging. And that, that thing, that was what was gonna go wrong with me and nick..... but we'll find that out later
