Words
Strange things words
A thing or things
We take for granted
But wait...
But what if
We couldn't speak?
Where would we be now
If we had no speech?
Maybe
There won't be
So much hurt caused by words
Hmmm...
Perhaps
No...
Maybe...
I don't know...
Perhaps we would all be friends
No competitions
No enemies
I'd like that
No words...
No words...
Sounds almost like Heaven
Words confuse me
They mangle the truth
They like to turn the soul
Into a black
Rock hard
Concrete wall
Words
I'd love
To get rid of words
But then
Where would we be?
I don't know
But that's not for me
To find out
Or maybe...
It could be
Words
Goddbye
So long
Farewell
Hasta luego
To these
Disgusting words
But wait!
Aren't I
Saying words?
Not out loud
But on this paper
This very paperHuh
I guess words are everywhere
We don't have to say them
Writing
Gestures
Movements of the
Branches of trees
The wind
The swishing grass
Even the layout
Of those rocks
On your driveway
You ignore
Even when
To our older brother
Just hit you with one
Okay then
I can't get rid of words
Oh well
I guess I like words
Since I haven't
Ended this poem
That keeps talking about
Getting rid of words
