chapter 6

After we kissed it went no further I dont know if that's because he didnt want it or because he didnt want it with me. We ended up watching netflix and I fell asleep in his arms the whole time I was layed with him I couldnt stop thinking about what he said ' your going to be mine in no time' did he mean that or was he just playing with me. Did he actually care or was I just another girl to him. For god sake lexie you met the guy yesterday and now your acting like you want to marry him.

Jaden-" lexie....lexie... lex"
I woke up to find that I was still in jadens arms I turned around to face him and a grin apeard across his face causing me to smile as Well.
Jaden-" good morning princess, I'm going on a run I just wanted you to know so you didnt panic" he brushed my stray hair behind my ear as he spoke and I couldn't stop myself from looking at his lips he must have seen as he leant forward and kissed my head before getting up and walking towards the bathroom.
Lexie-" jaden wait!"
Jaden-" whats wrong lex"
Lexie-" can I go with you"
He smirked and looked me up and down as I layed in his bed in his hoodie that he gave me when I got cold last night he held out his hand an i instantly got up and went to him he wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck he lifted me up causing me to wrap my legs around him he leant towards me and whispered
Jaden-" of course you can baby girl, go get changed and come back here once your ready." He then placed me on the floor and walked into the bathroom winking at me as he closed the door.
I ran back to my room not wanting anyone to see me coming out of jadens room in his hoodie i didnt want them to get the wrong impression of me. I got changed into this and stood in front of the mirror inspecting my decision.

Was it to simple, I looked stupid. Forgod sake lexie you going on a run and why do you care what he thinks now get your arse ready I grabbed my phone and earphones and walked back to jadens room and knocked on the door he opened it and our eyes met and he only broke it when he looked me up and down and then winked.
Jaden-" ready?"
Lexie-"yes"
Jaden-"lets go then"
He grabbed his phone and shut the door behind him before placing his hand on my back and giding me down the stairs when he reached the bottom he removed his hand and made his way to the kitchen he looked back at me with a look that told me to follow him so I did we made our way into the kitchen where nearly everyone was eating breakfast the girls must have stopped over last night. Jaden went into the fridge and got two waters before passing me one and then taking a banana and throwing it to me.
Josh-" where are you to going in such a rush"
Jaden-"we are going on a run, is that alright with you"
Ant-" wait really"
Jaden-" yes and we need to be going I want to take lexie somewhere"
He walked towards the door to leave the house and turned around and held his hand out to me.
Jaden-" you coming princess"
I went to him and he took my hand in his as we left I turned around to close the door and saw that mads was staring at me and jaden the rest of them had continued eating and didnt seem bothered by what just happend but she did why? We walked out of the house and down the street jaden told me to eat the banana and drink half the water and then save the other half for on the way back so I did we reached the end of the road and jaden turned to me.
Jaden-" you ready baby girl"
Lexie-" I think the question is are you ready" I start to run of, the fact I went running with nevaeh every morning helped me know my speed jaden quickly caught up to me but I didn't mind.
Jaden-" your quite fast arent you, do u go running alot."
Lexie-" when i was at home i used to.go running every morning with nevaeh."
Jaden-" Is she a friend"
Lexie-" no, shes my dog. Now enough stalling where are we going"
Jaden-" you will see just follow me"
After about another half an hour of running we finally reach the mysterious location as we stop I look around and take in the view we are on a hill that over looks the whole of la you can see everyone going about their busy life while you stand still watching them its beautiful. I turn to find that jaden has gone to sit on a rock closer to the edge I walk over to him and sit next to him placing my hands on the rock and closing my eyes trying to let go I feel jaden place his hand on mine and open my eyes to look at him, he smiles and closes his eyes to I turn back without saying anything and try to lose my self within the feeling of nature. I feel the same kind of relaxed here that I do at the lake in texas it's like mum had come with me to la and found the most beautiful place there is and has decided to stay there I sigh and a tear rolls down my cheek as memories of our time together flash through my mind.
Jaden-" lexie?"
I open my eyes and look at jaden and then realise I'm crying but before I can turn away he removes his hand from mine and brings me into a big bear hug I glance my head on his chest and he places his other hand in mine. I play with his rings as I talk.
Lexie-" I'm sorry i really didnt mean to cry it's just i feel so connect to this place."
Jaden-" it's okay I wanted to bring you hear because it's my thinking place the place in La that means the most to me and I wanted to show you it."
Lexie-" thankyou jaden it means so much I dont know if I would ever be able to take anyone to my thinking place so I know what this must mean to you."
Jaden-" you have a think place"
Lexie-"yes I think everyone does, mines a lake in texas that I run to every morning with nevaeh it is where my mum used to take me when I was younger and I would play as she would take pictures. She had a really big passion for photography and nature and I guess that's where I get it from, it just holds so many memories and happy times with her."
Jaden-" can i ask what happend to her if you dont want to tell me i under stand"
I take my head of his chest and shuffle so I'm looking at him.
Lexie-" it's okay jaden i  dont mind, she had stage 4 breat cancer and passed away when i was 14."
Jaden-" I'm so sorry"
Lexie-" it's not your fault"
Me and jaden talked for ages I told him all about my depression and self harm and how I recovered. And he told me that the reason ant was so surprised when he said we where going on a run is because he never normally alows   anyone to go with him because he likes to be alone with his thoughts as it's the way he copes as only a year ago he was diagnosed with depression after months of self harm and shutting him self away from everyone he told me that he had recovered but he still had some demons in his head I told him I understood and that no one actually ever gets cured they are just taught to put the voices in box and not listen to them anymore.
Jaden-" I guess we should go back they will be wondering where we are"
Lexie-" yeah I guess so, and I'm starving."
He just laughed at me and held his hand out to help me of the rock.
Jaden-" how about we go back and get showered and changed and I take you out for a fancy meal?"
Lexie-" are you sure you have spent the whole morning with me do u want to spend the night with me aswell."
He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him.
Jaden-" your special lexie and I want to spend as much time with you before you find someone better"
I smiled and nodded and he leant in and whispered in my ear
Jaden-" and yes it is a date "
Before winking and running off shouting
Jaden-" COME ON SLOW COACH".
