Timber whinnied anxiously and rose up on their hind hooves, slamming their front hooves back down to the ground, grunting as Senn patted their neck reassuringly.
The last Voltaris fell from Thalleous's blade, leaving him and Tygren just blocks apart, he wasn't ready for this fight.. not yet.
The Ardonj warrior sheathed his sword and turned on his heel, waving at Senn that it was time to go, now.
Tygren snarled under his breath, the rage filling him and overflowing like a cup, Thalleous wasn't getting away, not this easily!
His eyes searched his surroundings and landed on a shiny diamond blade that belonged to a spear! He wasted no time in grabbing the weapon, springing it at Thalleous before he could even focus on what he was doing.
His eyes widened as the spear just barely nicked his torso, flying past his arm and torso right into the ground.
"No!" The voltaris roared.
Thalleous' throat ran dry and his blood went cold when he felt the blade whizz by his torso, it's sharpened blade making a small slice in his side but at least it had missed.
He pushed himself onto Timber behind Senn and tapped the horse's side with his ankle, causing Timber to rear up and dart away with much haste, abandoning Tygren there with his deceased army.
They exited Sendaria in no time, crossing the river and trudging up the hill, not stopping until they were far, far away from the destroyed village.
"I thought you wouldn't survive!" Senn choked out, his voice wavering and cracking as he had been crying, his hold on Timber's reigns tightening.
"I'm not leaving just yet Senn, never plan on it..-" Thalleous reassured, sounding out of breath as if he was in shock as well, the pain from the slice nothing but a numb tingle to the warrior.
"We must hurry to Ataraxia.."
