Kaylor One-Shots

pinky promise

'Catch me.' Young Karlie giggled, running around in Taylor's garden.
She peeked over her shoulder to grin at Taylor, who was chasing her.

Everyone had always known that what Taylor and Karlie shared was something more than a friendship. No one ever denied it. It had just always been this way. When playing they were mommy and mommy with a little doll as their baby daughter or son.

Even as a 9 year old Karlie knew Taylor was the one. She didn't know exactly for what she was the one, but she knew it would always be Taylor. Taylor with eyes that twinkled in the soothing spring sun. Taylor with the thick, almost white hair that smelt pretty. 'Of lilies', Karlie had once stated. Taylor had just laughed, heavily shaking her head. Those lily scented locks slightly brushing against Karlie's nose as they swept by swiftly. Taylor was just Taylor. Perfect without even having to try.

After being chased for a while, an out of breath Karlie fell to the grass, Taylor soon following. They lied on the grass for a while, their heads touching at the top.

'Hey Karls?' Taylor asked.

'Hey Tay?' Karlie giddily replied, still a little out of breath.

'Will you promise me you'll never leave me?'

'Never, Taylor.' Karlie chuckled.

'Karlie, I'm being serious.' Taylor frowned in distress.

She could be so insecure at times. Karlie had never understood how a girl as amazing and wonderful as Taylor could ever be unsure of anything.

Karlie's mood changed to serious and she looked Taylor in the eye. 'Me too. I'll never leave you. Never, ever, ever!' She swore.

'Pinky promise?' Taylor whispered.

Karlie nodded and so they locked their pinks, before Karlie softly placed a short kiss on the tip of Taylor's nose.

Just discovered this while going through my drafts. I know it's really short but I felt obliged to publish something to make up for the lack of Kaylor I've been writing these last couple of months and thought this was kinda cute so I hope some of you thought so too haha
