Shen Xi Meng picks up the chopsticks and starts eating.

"It's better than I thought..." Shen Xi Meng muttered under his breath.

Compared to his burnt scrambled eggs he makes back on Earth...

Just thinking about his culinary skills, Shen Xi Meng shivers. He totally should always stay away from the kitchen or it might blow up.

Taking another mouthful of rice with eggs, Shen Xi Meng said calmly while food still in his mouth, "Aren't you coming out?"

Shen Xi Meng expressionlessly glances at a direction where there was a big tree not too far ahead of him. Although he couldn't see the boy, he knew that Qing Yuan was hiding behind that tree.

Shen Xi Meng had activated the cold powers within his body after all. It was unlike before when he was concealing more than 90% of his powers within his body, making him more like an ordinary mortal.

Qing Yuan's heart skipped a beat. He still had the World Stone of Invisibility on him so even if Shen Xi Meng could tell where he was located, Shen Xi Meng still wouldn't be able to see him.

After Shen Xi Meng finished with the meal, he gently puts down the bowl and chopsticks on the table and stood up.

A smile appeared on Qing Yuan's face. So Shen Xi Meng is finally getting serious.

It was at that moment that Shen Xi Meng said slowly with a low voice as cold as ice, "Do you want to come out yourself or do you want me to help you come out?"

Qing Yuan finally responded back to Shen Xi Meng with a calm tone, "If you can catch me, I'll come out."

Qing Yuan didn't reply back. He kept a smile on his face before he turned to run. At that moment, Shen Xi Meng also made a move and run after Qing Yuan.

It was as if both of them were playing tags and Shen Xi Meng needs to catch Qing Yuan. Although Shen Xi Meng looks calm on the outside while running after Qing Yuan, inside he was cursing.

F*ck! Why is that kid so fast?!

After running after Qing Yuan again, Shen Xi Meng saw that the distance between the two of them was now 4 meters apart. Shen Xi Meng didn't mind as he lifted his sword and slash out two times.

Immediately, two tall thick walls of ice appeared on both Qing Yuan's side, only allowing Qing Yuan to continue running forward. The path in front of Qing Yuan wasn't straight either. It was as if Shen Xi Meng deliberately carved a path for Qing Yuan to run on as Shen Xi Meng chased from behind.

This made Qing Yuan quite interested in what Shen Xi Meng is about to do next.

When Qing Yuan continues to run forward, he suddenly found that the two walls of ice ended when he reached the river. Immediately, he understood Shen Xi Meng's plan.

Shen Xi Meng grabbed onto Qing Yuan's hand tightly as the both of them were standing in the shallow part of the river that only reaches up to their waist.

Shen Xi Meng was out of breath as his face was pale. He had used too much yuan qi and his cultivation level still isn't high enough for him to use these attacks freely. It made him feel weak as well as it left him trembling.

But, Shen Xi Meng didn't pay attention to his current state. Instead, he was looking at the boy that is already close to looking like a teenage boy. The boy in front of him wore a black robe. The snow white skin, as well as that flawless face, would make anyone feel ashamed of their own appearance.

This made Shen Xi Meng felt like he was dreaming. Just where was it? It was as if he knew that boy in front of him for so long now. But, how?

Shen Xi Meng was just about to say something and took a step forward but before he could even do so, he felt limp around his legs and fell forward.

Fortunately, Qing Yuan caught Shen Xi Meng in his arms on time and had on a smile. "Just so you could catch me, you're risking your own health?"

Shen Xi Meng glares at Qing Yuan. "Because of you. It's all....your fault."

Shen Xi Meng's eyelashes trembles as he lowers his eyes. A throbbing headache made him frown as he leaned against Qing Yuan's chest. He put all his weight on Qing Yuan as he closes his eyes and fell asleep.

At that point, the wall of ice broke into small pieces and fell down from the sky like snow. Qing Yuan held the unconscious Shen Xi Meng in his arms while both of them were still in the shallow river.

It was silent, except for the flow of water and the sounds of nature. Making the scene peaceful with two boys in the middle of all this.
