Chapter 14- Night Secret Realm

Shen Xi Meng still remembers his past life clearly before he transmigrated to earth in his last life.

It was after entering the sect and becoming a disciple under the head sect master, 5 years have passed when he finally met Qing Yuan for the first time in a mission. At that time, Qing Yuan was disguising himself to be the young master of the Zhi family, Zhi Qiang.

After being kissed by Qing Yuan, Shen Xi Meng pursed his lips, staring at Qing Yuan with an icy glare. He was just about to berate the other when Qing Yuan chuckled and quickly run away from the scene.

When he was about to chase after Qing Yuan, one of his fellow martial brother hurriedly came to his side and called out, "Senior brother Shen!"

"En?" Shen Xi Meng quickly put back on his calm expression and look at the guy.

Liu Han then said, "Master Zhi has already opened the Night Secret Realm. All preparations are done. We only need your orders now."

Shen Xi Meng nodded. "Let's go."

"Yes!"

Shen Xi Meng and the other 3 fellow disciples came to the entrance of the Night Secret Realm. The elders of the Zhi Family including Qing Yuan was also there.

Shen Xi Meng glanced towards Qing Yuan's direction. Seeing the indifferent look on Qing Yuan's face, it was as if he wasn't the one who kissed him out of nowhere earlier. But, Shen Xi Meng doesn't have time to care about these small matters. What's most important currently is to accomplish the mission as soon as possible.

Master Zhi spoke to Shen Xi Meng with a respectable tone. "My useless son is the only one who has entered the Night Secret Realm before. He can guide you along the way."

He then sighed, "Alas, if this Secret Realm isn't only limited to those of Core Formation stage or below, as well as also have to be under the age of 50 years old, you youngsters that still have a bright future ahead wouldn't have to take such risky missions."

At this point, Qing Yuan butted in and said, "Dad, you don't have to worry too much. They're from Tian Shan Sect after all. They won't die that easily."

Master Zhi glares at Qing Yuan as if asking him to sh*t up. Seeing that glare, Qing Yuan obediently shut his mouth.

Shen Xi Meng didn't mind too much. He gave the signal and he along with his martial brothers and sisters as well as Qing Yuan entered the Night Secret Realm through the portal that Master Zhi opened.

Seeing that they all entered in, Master Zhi raised his hand and was just about to set a spell that doesn't allow any more people to enter the Secret Realm, all the elders around him suddenly collapse down and died with blood running out of their mouth.

His heart skipped a beat and he yelled out, "Who?!"

A long sleeve black robe came into view through the corner of Master Zhi's eyes. He turned back only to see a tall man with exquisite handsome features. The man had on a cold expression, his surrounding aura all gloomy.

Master Zhi was stunned. "...Ah Qiang? Impossible! Didn't you enter earlier with the disciples from Tian Shan Sect? No! You're not Ah Qiang. Who are you?!"

Zhi Qiang looks at the middle age man in front of him as if he was looking at an ant. He only said coldly, "Father, you can't even recognize who's your real son?"

"I don't remember having any son filled with an evil aura like you." Master Zhi then unsheathed his sword and pointed the tip of the sword at Zhi Qiang. "Speak! Devil, who exactly are you, and why are you disguising yourself as my son!"

There was a small smile on Zhi Qiang's face. But, that kind of smile only made Master Zhi shivered. Zhi Qiang slowly said, "Father, I am really disappointed in you."

With a flick of Zhi Qiang's sleeve, Master Zhi didn't know what happened as a strong gust of wind made him flew back a couple of meters before falling down and spitting out blood.

Master Zhi looks at Zhi Qiang with a mocking smile as he wipes off his blood from the corner of his mouth. "Clearly you're higher than a cultivator at Core Formation Stage. Even if you want to enter the Night Secret Realm, you can't! Hahaha, only those of Core Formation or below can enter."

"Who says that I can't enter?" Zhi Qiang walks towards Master Zhi before stopping in front of him. "I'm now the owner of that Secret Realm that once belongs to mother. Didn't you chase after mother because you wanted the treasures from the Secret Realm all to yourself?"

Master Zhi widened his eyes as he looks at Zhi Qiang in disbelief. "You-"

Master Zhi wanted to move. But, he soon found out that he was paralyzed!

Zhi Qiang squatted down as his pair of handsome cold eyes look at Master Zhi who now remembers to finally show a sense of fear.

"Father." Zhi Qiang whispered, "Exactly how should I punish you for betraying mother and me? You even go as far as to create a fake me just so that the treasures won't recognize me as its new owner. But, too bad that I already killed the Zhi Qiang you created."

"Th-Then who was the one that entered the Night Secret Realm just a moment ago?!" Master Zhi was shocked as he heard Zhi Qiang's words.

"Him?" Zhi Qiang scoffed coldly when Master Zhi mentioned Qing Yuan. The corner of his lips raised slightly. "Who knows."

Even Zhi Qiang didn't see coming the appearance of someone that would suddenly disguise as him.

Zhi Qiang grabbed the jade pendant from Master Zhi's hand. It was the exact jade pendant that Master Zhi used in order to open the secret realm.

Inside this jade pendant, contains every last drop of blood from his mother. His so-called father sucked his mother's body dry just so that he could have the ability to open the Night Secret Realm at will. But, how could he have guessed that even if he can open the realm, he still wouldn't be able to enter because he was already older than 50 years old?
