It means a lot to me and sorry for not posting last week but I'll try to make up for it. :)

Narrator's POV
"You..."

"You..."

Hanako looked at both of us and slumped back with the same saddened expression. "Why are you with him?" Kou asked Y/N calmly, trying not to get angry with the small girl. Y/N looked at both Hanako and Kou before clearing her throat and answering: "Because...". Kou face palmed himself before looking back up to her with a disappointed glare. "I told you not to-" Y/N cut him off. "... Because he's my friend." She said fixing her posture a little to make herself look confident and taller. "... And I don't abandon friends..." Kou's eyes widened and so did Hanako's.

Hanako looked up to her from where he was sitting and his eyes twinkled a little. Y/N looked back down to him and smiled softly. A friend? Hanako hadn't heard anyone call him a friend for a long time... . Kou gave Y/N a confused glare and walked over to Hanako and Y/N. "But you don't even really know him. How can you even know he's a friend when you just barely met him...?".

"For your information, I didn't just meet him! I met him like 2 days ago... and second, he's my friend because that was my wish." She said giving Kou a serious deadly look. Kou clenched his teeth and looked back over to see a slightly blushing Hanako.

Kou looked back up to Y/N and clenched his fists. "Well then... I can't let him hurt you... so I'm going to be staying with you guys when you hang out and make sure he doesn't try anything. Like I said before-"

"He's a dangerous ghost who's mysterious and shouldn't be trusted~!" Y/N mocked. "Fine. Stay all you'd like, but from what I've noticed Hanako is just a poor soul that needs friends. I'm going to be friends with him and their's nothing you can do about it." She hissed. Kou rolled his eyes before walking over to Y/N and smiling a little before talking. "You must be crazy to want to be friends with a supernatural but I can tell you have a kind heart..." Kou said looking into her eyes lovingly.

Y/N blushed a little and nodded. She looked back over to a blushing Hanako that was hiding his face in his knees pulled close to his chest.

"OH!!! OH! OH! Since we're all friends now we should have like a little handshake whenever we meet!! OR, OR, we should have friendship bracelets!!!!!" Y/N cheered jumping up and down excitedly. Kou raised a brow while Hanako started.... laughing...?

Oh my gosh he was laughing. HE WAS LAUGHING!! After years of Hanako sulking and crying, he was laughing.

Y/N's eyes sparkled as Hanako laughed. Pretty soon Y/N started giggling and Kou joined in on the giggle fest.

Hanako stopped laughing and looked up to Y/N smiling. "You sure are something else for a kid..." Hanako chuckled. Y/N's eyes lit up and she nodded cutely making both Kou and Hanako blush a little.

'She's just like her....' Both Hanako and Kou thought.

Just from her happy and cheerful personality, she resembled so much like her.

Kou smiled remembering those old memories from when he was smaller. Hanako smiled too, except, his smile lowered as he remembered how he just let her die like that... He felt small tears falling from his glossy ghost eyes. He was smiling but crying at the same time. He pulled his legs in and silently smiled while crying remembering the girl he had so many memories with... and his first kiss with.....

It would be hard for him to accept these ghost emotions he used to experience but he's sure he'll get used to them. But even if he gets happier he knows that nothing can replace her...

Yashiro... the one both Kou and Hanako had feelings for. (I know Mitsuba is like Kou's boyfriend but he still had some minor feelings for Yashiro)

Y/N noticed Hanako crying and stopped laughing. She sat beside him and laid her hand on his shoulder to comfort him. Kou also stopped laughing and went over to slouch against the wall while Y/N tried to comfort Hanako. It's embarrassing for Kou to try and comfort Hanako after all these years.

Hanako looked up to her with teary eyes. Y/N felt her heart clench a little. She felt like her heart had shattered. She just wanted to hug him and tell him everything was okay but wouldn't that be a little awkward...

Y/N wrapped her arms around Hanako and gave him a loving hug. Hanako was confused at first but cried into Y/N's shoulder. Kou felt a little saddened too but he knew Y/N had this covered.

"Shhh it's okay...., let it all out..." She whispered to him. Hanako stopped crying and looked up to Y/N. "Thank you for that...." He said shyly. Y/N just nodded her head and looked up to Kou. You smiled down at her and came back over to talk with them.

They all tried to talk about random things that would make get his mind off whatever...

They all relaxed and just enjoyed the other's company.

Hanako must admit, he missed having company...
