Hanako

I can't keep hiding this from her. As much as I'd love to suppress those memories and have them bottled in the back of mind, I can't go on like this. I still wish that Y/N never summoned me. If she just left me alone, she wouldn't be so confused about this new "spiritual world".

"Y/N, . . . I- I grew up with a twin brother which was that ghost you just interacted with. Although he may not appear to harmless, he is. He's a great danger to you and almost everyone, he's. . ." I let out a quiver, I was having flashback of that night. I looked up and Y/N looked concerned. "I suggest staying as far away from him as you can. He's nothing but pure evil. Even so, he's still my brother. During my childhood I just realized that. . . He was manipulating me. Abusively." I saw her eyes darken with despair. I hesitated to continue but I had already leaked a lot of information so I must.

"I'd rather not discuss the ways in which he did but I do need to admit one thing that could potentially break our friendship. . ."

"What's that?" She asked tilting her head. This is internally hurting me to say this to another person.

"I-. . ." I paused and looked at her for reassurance. She gave me a nod. "I- I murdered my twin brother. . ." I could sense her being uncomfortable now. "The reasons why. . ." I sighed. "You have to understand that he's-" I hadn't realized it but ghostly tears started to trickle down my face. She looked rather concerned now, more than ever before. I felt my chest ache with both sadness and fear.

"Hanako-Kun, I'm not scared or mad at you, I'm simply surprised. I know you have a good soul, I can sense it. I trust you. I know there had to be a reason for your acts." She mumbled wrapping her arms around me. Surrounding me in a warm hug.

I couldn't help but cry into her shoulder. "I killed him- I killed my own blood-" "Shhhh" She hushed me. I pulled away quickly and griped onto her shoulders. "Y/N, afterwards- I killed myself. I figured since I took the life of my own flesh and blood, I deserve to die also. . .", I noticed her tense up. Her eyes filled with tears as she hugged me again. "Hanako-Kun, I don't care who you used to be! I like you for who you are now. . . What you've done is in the past. . . All that matters now is that you're intentions are good." She cried out. I slowly nodded and whimpered. I wasn't mentally prepared for her to know about Yashiro yet. Just please not yet.

I pulled away from the hug again and smiled. I smiled. Something that only Y/n has been able to have the ability to summon the smile on my face. "Hanako, no matter what, I think you're still amazing. Thank you." I nodded.

Together we hugged and felt comfort each other's presence.

It was calm and warming.

Recently Hanako and I have become closer friends. He's really happy now. . .

He's actually more of a jokester now. However, sometimes his comments can be rather. . . What's a good word to use. . .

Inappropriate.

I never knew he could be so dirty minded. Of course, Kou always yells at him and lectures him on his choice of words and how he needs to "think before he speaks".  I'd be lying if I didn't think it was funny.

Romani's been teasing me about hanging out with Kou so much lately. Little does she know, I like someone else. I'm always super quick on catching feelings but I truly feel as though this time it might work out. Of course, I won't confess for a long time but still. . .

I was headed towards Hanako's bathroom until I noticed my biology teach Mr. Tsuchigomori scolding Kou for going into the girl's restroom. He noticed me and raised an eyebrow.

"I swear if you kids were-"

I almost yelped. "NO!" I basically yelled. "Kou is my friend and we were looking for a friend. He must've thought she was in the restroom." Kou smiled cheekily at Tsuchigomori. He clicked his tongue and looked back over to Kou. "Does she know?" He asked rather strangely.

Kou nodded. Tsuchigomori sighed and looked back over to me. "Well Ms. L/N, do you know about me then?" He asked rather annoyed. I shook my head. He grumbled before looking at Kou. "When Hanako's not upset, visit me in the library." He bluntly stated before turning and walking away.

I looked to Kou, confused. "It's a long story. Let's visit Hanako now." I nodded at his words and opened the door.

There Hanako was humming a tune. I approached him, "What'cha hummin?" I asked placing a hand on his shoulder. "Oh there you are~" He chuckled. "I've been humming an old American tune from when I was young."

"What's the name?" I asked walking over to the window and lifting myself to sit on the bench. "It's-" Hanako was rudely interrupted by Kou. "Oi, Ghost boy!" Kou said flicking the back of Hanako's head. I could tell Hanako didn't like that.

"How about we stop humming tunes and start get going." He stated rather bluntly.

"Where are you guys going?" I asked tilting my head.

"We're going to see an old friend." Kou sighed happily. ( A/N- Can y'all guess who?~)

"And you're coming with us Y/N-Chan~" Hanako added on.

"Oh! New friends, how lovely. What're they like?"

"You'll know when ya meet him." Kou stated before walking out of the bathroom. Hanako followed and then so did I.

A/N- Hey guys sorry for not posting yesterday, I fell asleep when I should've been writing. Let me know who you think they'll meet. I think some of you will be happy about this character being re-introduced in the story. Also, I'd like to apologize for my writing not being as good as it used to.
