Chapter 29

Jimin doesn't remember much from what happened the last few minutes. Only being surrounded by poisonous water as he begs Yoongi to get out of the room. This room was specifically made for Sirens and their own torture.

That's why he couldn't even move when he stepped in. That scent of the poison weakened him horribly. He didn't know how long Yoongi would've taken to grab him and go but he couldn't risk the doors locking behind him.

So Jimin expected himself to die.

Not cough out water from his lungs a few moments later.

He gasps desperately for air and clean water, that was instantly provided when a class of water was shoved to his lips.

He could feel his gills and scales move around his face in delight before merging back to his body. As the poison drifted away, Jimin began to recognize the figure of a man in front of him.

"T-Taehyung?"

The other smiles in relief, his brown eyes glistening down at him, "Fuck you scared me! How are you feeling?"

Jimin breathes in the air heavily, trying to gather a solid thought before furrowing his eyebrows, "H-How did you find me?"

This also waved a confuse gleam behind Taehyung's eyes, almost as if he's asking himself that same question that he didn't know the answer to.

"I..... I don't know," He whispers, "I just did-"

A loud bomb suddenly goes off and Taehyung suddenly began to shake feverishly as he collapses to the ground. Jimin instantly goes to assist him but Taehyung only pushes him away as his eyes began to pierce green.

"JIMIN RUN! I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!" He snarls angrily, digging his talon like fingers down his face, "GO!"

Jimin scrambles back from the horrid voice and runs away, hearing the broke laughter echoing behind him as he runs farther and farther away from the man.

Who is in fact his soulmate.

Namjoon is tearing this building apart as if it was a puzzle, but more messily.

He didn't care who he killed, when he killed, how he killed someone, but anyone who got in his way were killed. He practically shoved every subject X individual out of the building using a portal to make us far more much easier.

And the rest didn't even stop him.

Yoongi's wolf was chaotically snatching guard apart while Seokjin had a whole buffet of food for him in store. Hoseok was having the time of his life as he threw arrows after arrows, making the guards kill each other with his sadistic purple eyes.

They were buying time.

The second the saw Jimin with his hysterical eyes running towards them, they instantly knew what was trailing by behind him.

And against him was nearly impossible.

"RUN!" Jimin screams, instantly getting on Yoongi's back as the wolf runs out the facility with Seokjin in tail. Namjoon and Hoseok left through a portal right when Taehyung made his entrance with his large wings, but he was instantly pushed down to the ground by something Namjoon couldn't even see since the portal closed.

Hoseok drops to the ground if leaves on his knees, puffing heavily to the sight he also saw before the portal closed, "What the fuck was that?"

Namjoon remains with his lips gapped, letting out his own heavy breathes, "I-I don't know. It was strong enough to knock him down-"

More rustling sounds echoed around them and that's when the rest of the three appeared at the same location, just as they said they would meet.

"Are you guys okay?"

Namjoon nods to Jimin's question, rubbing his neck, "Where's Jungkook?"

Everyone stayed silent.

Well they did, but they heard a loud screech suddenly ring the air like an alarm.
Everyone covered their ears to the volume of it, that followed by multiple shakes of the Earth to tremble beneath their feet.

"The fuck!" Hoseok exclaims, eyes widening to the sudden moving of the trees, "The fuck is going on-"

Suddenly something was falling to their direction.

Someone with pure white wings.

Everyone leaps away from the area of the falling person as they collide harshly to the ground, going through it to make a large hole on the dirt where their body is.

Everyone stayed frozen, unsure on what the fuck to do but the second two hands reached out from the hole, pushing their body out of it to reveal a familiar ravenette, Namjoon nearly cried out in relief.

Yoongi instantly transformed back to human and was running towards him, "Jungko-"

But the angel suddenly lunges towards him, stopping him stepping in sight of Taehyung; who was scouring the woods through the sky from where he punched Jungkook.

Everyone once again stayed frozen, especially to Jungkook's glowing white eyes as he tells them to stay still through their minds.

Minutes upon minutes passed and Jungkook's eyes dimmed back to brown, giving a nod that its safe before looking down at Yoongi, giving him wide bunny smile.

"Sorry," He chuckles, "I had to make sure you were safe-"

Yoongi only yanks him into his arms, hugging him tightly. This caught Jungkook off guard but he slowly hugs him back with that equal relief that he's safe too.

More than safe actually.

He could see everyone else staring at the pure wings attached to his back and he slowly pulls away from Yoongi to get to his feet, extending out his wings to stretch them to its full length.

"Guess I'm an angel," Jungkook giggles happily, slapping everyone else off of their awestruck expressions fo smile widely back at him.

Hoseok was the first to shoot towards him, running his fingers through the delicate texture of the feathers with his own happy laughter. Slowly everyone else began to grow that reaction, except for Namjoon who still remained awestruck.

"B-But how is this possible?" Namjoon whispers, capturing his attention, "I-I thought you would get them again if you sinned?"

Jungkook's smile slightly drops to this and he slowly nods, "Well.... I can't be a punished if I was forgiven. The court knew my intentions when I did what I did, so I was granted my wings back."

Well.... That definitely explains it.

"But...... They told me I have to do something," Jungkook says lowly, a more deeper frown tugging his lips.

Seokjin looks at him with narrowed eyes, "What is it?"

Jungkook's wings slowly flutters back to his chest, shifting it as a tattoo on his skin instead before he only focuses on the ground.

"I have to kill Taehyung.... Permanently.
