A FANGIRL STORY

I was an ultimate fangirl.

If you remember the 2013 fangirl era where fans would fill their rooms with the faces of their beloved group, and dress in varsity jacket with their idol's favorite number and name written on the back... well that was me.

I was the picture perfect example of a fangirl. I looked, talked and played the part pretty accurately. Rather than saving for a new pair of trendy kicks, or crying over a Nicholas Sparks movie adaptation, I was saving for my idol's merch and albums, and cried over video edits of them and fanfictions. More importantly, I was in love with nine boys who are not even aware of my existence. I had their posters, stuffed dolls, magazines with their interviews, their albums, jewelries, I probably even answered all the quizzes about them online! I probably also knew more facts about them than they know themselves!

Anyways... I was crazy about them.

But I'm not anymore. I always thought that even when they are bound to part ways years later, hopefully when I marry one of them, I would still love them and treasure the memory I had of them from my youth.

But that's not the case. Here's a story of a life of a fangirl when she's no longer a fan and no longer a little girl.
