2014

Familiar mad cute puppy got all riled up and began ranting. He talked about how much he worked hard and I shouldn't have commented. But it was so difficult to take him seriously when his voice was so low and his face looked so cute. He had a long wavy hair, with bangs that fell until the top of his eyebrows. He was also wearing light make-up that softened his features even more.

In the middle of his rant I did something I know I shouldn't have done at this situation: I laughed. OUT LOUD.

He stopped ranting and looked at me,horrified by what I have done.

"Are you," he leaned in an inch closer towards me. "Are you... laughing?"

I tried to control my breathing and stop my laughter. Am I crazy? Why am I laughing at a time like this?! I hate myself sometimes.

"Look," I began to say as tears start to form in my eyes. I can't believe I'm laughing. "I'm sorry I said all those things I just--"

"Stop it!"

People started to look and he pulled me away from the cafe and we headed outside to the cold and walk a few steps away from ACY. Ugh, I hate the cold. I don't get cold easily but today was different. I felt the wind pierce through my skin, I wasn't even able to grab my coat. Somehow the weather made it easier for me to calm down, and my laughter started to die down.

"Look, I'm sure Seo Yoon had a reason why she wanted my input. It might be because I'm fangirl and she needed a fan's perspective." I bit my lip so I don't laugh anymore. But now that I'm no longer giddy I could feel the cold even more. Tall Puppy looked down at his shoes. He didn't even looked bothered by the cold since he's wearing a thick coat and a scarf. Psh.

"Yeah maybe..." he still avoided eye contact. "I'm sorry if I yelled at you, I just-"

He finally met my eyes and I guess he noticed me freezing to death, because he started to remove his coat. He inched in towards me and wrapped the coat around me.

"Here. Wear this." he said. He then removed his scarf and puts it on me too. His clothes felt soft and warm, it felt expensive and smelled good too. Like vanilla.

"Um..." he coughed, "I want to apologize about earlier. It wasn't right of me to take out my frustration on you. You were just being honest. I was the one who messed up the routine. I'm sorry."

I smiled at him. He's left with his red sweater and black jeans. His hands were in his pockets, if he were cold, he's very good at acting like he wasn't.

"I forgive you." I said, "Now. Do you want to--"

I was about to invite him for a coffee when two large arms pounced on my shoulders.

"ADDISON!" a voice said, and I know that voice all too well. I looked behind me and saw Jackson smiling widely.

"Jackson! What are you doing here?" I asked, looking at my friend and his messed up hair. I tried to fix but he just moved away, avoiding my fixing hands.

"Stop! You'll just mess it up." he whined.

"It's already messed up crazy." I laughed. I looked at Tall Puppy and saw him raise an eyebrow.

I coughed, "Um Jackson this is... uh..."

"Jun-Ah!" Jackson waved at Tall Puppy. "Were you standing there all this time?"

Tall Puppy, or should I say Jun-Ah, gently kicked Jackson on the side of his knee and says, "Tsh, I'm this tall yet you still don't notice me. I'm hurt hyeong."

"Aish, stop acting like a baby Jun-Ah. The real baby is here!" Jackson goes over to me and pinched my cheek.

"Stop it!" I pushed Jackson away. It's so annoying when he treats me like I'm way younger when he only a few months, or a 'year' as he said, older than me.

"All right, all right. It's cold. We should go in." Jackson ran towards ACY and we followed behind him. We walked back to the cafe and I saw my stuff still in the same table. Thank God there are no thieves in ACY. Jun-Ah saw it too and walked over to that direction.

Once we're all seated Jackson began talking. "I can't believe you met each other already. I was just going to do that. I guess fate beat me to it, huh?"

Jun-Ah held the same expression on his face as I did, obviously confused as to what Jackson is trying to say.

"What?" I asked him.

"Y'know? When I texted you I have a friend that I want you to meet." he pointed at Jun-Ah's direction.

I thought back to our texts, "Oh you mean the xtrodinary? Well, where is she?"

Jackson proudly smiles and looked at Jun-Ah, "Yeah well, she is here."

"Where?" Wait... Does he mean?

"Jun-Ah xtrodinary, meet Addison xtrodinary." he smiled widely, looking like he accomplished something.

Jun-Ah looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "You said you'd introduce me to a k-pop expert."

"She is a k-pop expert." Jackson emphasized. Ugh. It started to get awkward more and more. I was really looking forward to meet an xtrodinary who I could get along with. It's not that Jun-Ah is disappointing or that I don't like him, I just feel like we won't be good friends at all. First of all we got off a bad start and we just don't seem click.

"I'm not an expert, I'm just a fan." I told them.

"You so are! You try to understand every music video, dance routine, song and even outfits. Plus you're dad is basically--" I wrapped Jun-Ah's scarf around Jackson's mouth before he could even finish.

"A k-pop fan supporter. Yeah," I chuckled nervously. One thing I hate is people giving me a special treatment when they find out my parents own ACY. "He, um, he supports me as a k-pop fan."

That does not make sense, Addison Jeong.

"That's not what I was supposed to say!" Jackson whined. I hit him with the scarf.

Jun-Ah just shrugged, looking like he couldn't care less. "I don't really base my fondness off of people's family. So don't worry, I won't care even if your father is Mr. Alexander Jeong II."

But... he is my dad.

"Ah,  see? He doesn't care." Jackson smiled mischievously. "Plus you guys are both new to Seoul, same age and loves k-pop, so I thought, why not get these friendless souls together?"

"I'm not friendless." I countered.

"By the way Jun-Ah, do you have any schedule today?" Jackson said, completely ignoring my words.

"Um, we're just taking a break. Our training sessions will resume soon." Jun-ah replied. He talked informally to Jackson so they must've been friends for quite some time now.

"I was really looking forward to hang out today. Aren't you free today?" Jackson looked at him with his big brown eyes.

"Ha, sounds nice but asking Ye-rin's approval to go out would be such a hassle." Jun-Ah chuckled. Being a trainee sounds so restricting, but I suppose it's all worth it.

"Don't worry about it. I gotchu covered." Jackson winked and I, as any person would've responded in this situation, cringed terribly.

"Uck. Don't ever do that around others please." I begged. Jackson gave me a perfect eye roll.

"Whatever. Come on Addison," Jackson grabbed my hand. Boys have to realize that girls do not appreciate having their arm, wrist or even hand pulled like that.

Jun-Ah stood as well, "Let's hang out next time, I still have to practice. Turns out I'm not the best dancer."

"What?!" Jackson exclaimed, "Who said that?! You're literally a skilled dancer."

Jun-Ah smirked and looked me in the eye. For a second there I felt like I couldn't breath. Why do I feel nervous all of the sudden?

"Just someone who's opinion matters."
