If love could only be expressed in words then He wouldn't have had to come down

O if love could only be expressed in words then Jesus Christ wouldn't have had to die

See....His love for us led Him to the cross.

Not once did He look back because He had no regrets.

He went the extra mile to bridge the gap which was created between man and God from the beginning of creation when Adam and Eve sinned.

So now we can go to Him as often as every day,hour,minute or second and be in a relationship where it's not just about us but about Him as well.

Selfishness is always about 'I.....'

But love is about 'You and me.....'

So you can't be in a relationship with someone if everything is centered around you alone.

Hence, Jesus came down to be with us and dwell amongst us. To get to know us and go through our daily activities. To feel our joy, pain as well as our sorrow. He came down to experience the life of man on earth. In as much as He was 100% God, He became 100% Man on earth.

And after all this, we still have time to contemplate whether or not He is worth our love and time.

Okay, just think about this...

Isn't it beyond the ordinary that a King willingly accepts crucifixion to save a SLAVE?

O Yes! You were a slave to sin but Jesus came to die for you. He eliminated the 'L' in SLave in order to SAVE you.

How amazing is Christ's Love for us?

It is so kind, patient, caring,genuine, unconditional, overwhelming, reckless....... It goes on and on, you can't measure it.

A love that falls blind to our numerous flaws making Christ love us 'in spite of.....' And not 'because of...'

Because of His reckless love, many of us have belittled Him and taken everything He did for granted but I'm here to take of that blindfold and open your eyes.

I am not talking about just any ordinary person. I am talking about the King of kings, Lord of lords, Prince of peace, Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the End, First and The Last. The God who existed even before Creation. By Him all things came into existence and were made

This is the God who loves you, the One who watches over you every day and night. He protects and provides for You. He listens to your cry and answers you. He picks you up when you fall, He strengthens you when you are weak and in your darkest moments, He is always right beside you.

Actually,God does not just love you, He is LOVE

He is the best Hero in reality because His crucifixion and resurrection was not a movie about 2000 years ago....every single scene displayed on the screen was actually more real so many years ago. Even though He is not an actor, He played His role very well when He decided to show His love for you on the cross......And till now,no one has been able to play that role as well as He did.

You can't keep wearing the cross around your neck if you don't know what it actually represents.

Will anyone happily put on an emblem of suffering and shame??

The cross is just wood. However,the Precious blood which was shed on it has made it so significant. On that cross, He bore past,present and future sins and when everything was done, He said 'It is finished' (there will be no more blood shed because of the sins of man) Till today, His Blood is still powerful enough to wash away our sins.....If you think your sin is great, His love is GREATER! Greater love has no man than this,that a man lay down His life for His friends.

So now the cross doesn't just represent suffering but also true love.....Yes! That was where God showed His love for you, in that while you were still a sinner, Christ died for you.

If you're worth dying for, Christ is also worth living for.

He loves you, so He gave His life for you. Why don't you reciprocate this love and give your life to Him today?
