HE IS RISEN
The angels rolled the stone away
The tomb is empty, the Saviour is risen
If the disciples stole His body and run away,
they would have broken the Roman seal and this would have been considered treason
Today, I celebrate the Saviour who conquered the grave
For this reason, I can boldly say I'm no longer a slave
Not because of anything I have
But everything He gave
I need no flood to swim in His love
My Saviour died on the cross....
That's where His blood was shed.
It reaches to the highest mountain and flows to the lowest valley.
No one is too far away to be drowned in His love and be cleansed by His blood
If you still have room for doubt
Just know that His tomb is empty because He came out
He is Risen
C'mon let's celebrate
The resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
