Didn't I conquer this last year? Why am I going through the same thing this year?
This day isn't here to stay...It will pass by for another day to come by.As the days turn into weeks, weeks into months and months into years, we asses ourselves and realise that we keep on doing the same thing over and over again. We make mistakes and not changes.
See as the years pass by,we're not getting any younger. We're in the last days and the devil is roaming, going to and fro looking for people to devour. When we do not learn from our mistakes, he does and puts us back in the trap we thought we had escaped from. Just when we think our struggles are over, they all begin again
Every year, we have to overcome the same temptations because we are placed our placed in the same situations. The devil isn't wise...he's just observant 24/7. He takes our past mistakes and serves them to us on a different plate, and we don't realise it.
Gradually, he is taking our joy, our peace, our faith. Using up our resources; time, money, talent and energy...making us believe that we're benefiting more from our career, social life and academics than our Christian walk...My dear,don't be deceived, where your treasure is there your heart will be.
He's made us busy with so many things of the world because he knows that the time has come, we're in the last days and we've got to step up our game. It's about time we realise that we're growing older each day and we're just moving in cycles.
