Chapter 23 |•| a bloody mess

Snow's pov.

I smiled to myself as i watch them walk right into my trap.

Earlier as i traveled i actually caught a few trails that showed there was an existence of travelers.

What raised a question mark to my head is how greatly good but stupid they are at masking they're trail.

They got rid of all their signs of equipments and if I didn't see the piece of cigarette they left behind then I wouldn't even think they were here.

So I investigated a bit and that's when i found a footprint. I knew it wasn't a demon because its a footprint of a shoe. Thanks to that cigarette that they stupidly left i looked around . And now that i know there was human around i had to leave them a present ^__^

i know that they might be good people so chill ... im the only one who can activate the trap and since they're bad guys.. i need to activate it.

I watched as the four of them stepped exactly where my trap is. I placed my palm on the tree as frost traveled down to the forest floor engulfing their feet with coldness that they could only feel but not see.

"AGHH?!!" the four shouted as then their comrades came to look at whats wrong.

They lifted their pants to check on the feet that was continuously freezing causing it to be paralyzed. If this continued for the next hour. They have to decapitate they're foot to stop if from traveling any further. Either way it'll freeze up and shatter.

But i don't have to do that ... they haven't done any harm to us yet.

They're still human beings..

I sighed deeply as i pulled my palm off the tree.still watching them carefully as they helped the four men up to assist them in walking.

I saw their leader. He also had blonde whiteish hair that he ruffled frustratingly.

"It'll be hard to travel like this...let's go back to the headquarters!" He said as they went the other way from were they were actually heading.

Welp.. mission to slow them down accomplished with easee!!.

All i have to do now is go and find ray and head back to goldy pond.. this should be a piece of cake!

Nope.. not a piece of cake.

Where the fuck is ray and the others?! They're a lot of them.. and they're kids! Their trails shouldn't be hidden completely for me not to notice!

Ughh there's no time to rest at all.. i walked and walked for the next whole week since that incident with the ten men.

I had to continue moving corresponding to my calculations. If i get to the place that surrounded goldy pond by tomorrow I'll have high chances to find ray and emma.  That was my plan one week before. And I've already arrived 3 days ago and i still haven't found them despite already searching the whole place. The only place i haven't searched by now is the place closest to goldy pond. I just couldn't risk it yet. The poachers should be surrounding the perimeter for any human cattle to capture.

This is the last day that I'll be looking for them and if i still haven't found them by now then I'd have to take the long way tunnel to get inside goldy pond. Cause if i still haven't found them then they should already have entered the perimeter of the poachers they could've already taken them inside goldy pond.

So the plan is to get everyone and take them to the big tree that norman and the kids from lambda is currently staying. But we couldn't leave any trails so my plan is to take them first to the hidden cabin then slowly taking few by few to the big tree.
And we also had to destroy goldy pond... if we still haven't found the destroy button.. I'll use the fire from my other hand. It should be enough since I haven't used it all up from the last weeks of travel.

Now that ive made up my mind on what i should do.. let's go find them..

And I couldn't find them . Fck.

I sighed frustratingly as i ran my way back under the tunnel. My heart beats loudly as i heard explosions and gunshot above me. What the hell ?

"NOUMAAAAA!!" Shit.. was that the demon nous? Why is he shouting his wife's name?.. geez.

"PAULA!! SONYAA!!" shit that voice... was the hell is happening?!

I have to get back up there.. paula .. sonya.. hang in there.

Shit if that's sonya and paula.. the plan.. is on move?. Oh come one lucas are you fcking serious?!

Violet should be there with sonya,paula and sandy leading them. Did they win against the two demon?

Ofcourse im fvcking dreaming cause i can clearly hear Nous' ugly screaming voice and the cracking of bones.

Shit hang in there .. im almost out.

I held on to the roots as i climbed out and into the the bloody forest of goldy pond.

"AGH!" i turned to my left as i walked quietly near a tree climbing it as i peeped behind it . My eyes widened upon seeing sonya and paula on the floor .. a bloody mess.

I clenched my teeth as i took my bow clenching my fist as i held it... you'll pay you fucking monsters.

I adjusted my bandana as it rested tightly on the half of my face . I pulled my hood over my head so that they wont see my recognizable hair and my identification number on my neck.. 021504..

I watched ready to let my arrow sink into his face but stopped as i saw him raise sandy holding his head as his body dangled.. beaten to a pulp.

You shitty demon..

Where's violet?.. i just realized that her body was no where to be found... did he fucking ate her?!

Shit! why did i had to be so late to arrive!?

"There's still one left dear! Come out now! Im about to kill him" nous annoyingly said as if he's still talking to nouma.

Welp that was disgustingly pathetic ._.

I wandered my eyes around to see violet trembling as she hid behind the bushes but that's not what made me caught my breath.. it was the boy and the man beside her that's seemingly talking to her...
