Chapter 30 |•| frozen

Hayato ^

Hayato's pov.

Shit .. they're gaining up on us.

I glanced at my back as all ten men who wanted to capture frost ran behind us ready to capture us.

"Let's hurry up now!" She said as i then gain a much faster pace.

"SHIT!" i glanced as she slipped on a branch as we rounded the corner.

"SNOW!?" i quickly ran to her aid as she remained still.

I quickly carried her as the men stopped in front of me.. shit.

"Hand her over.. and we'll let you go kid.." one of them stated as they cautiously approached me.

I stepped back as i tried to shake her awake but my eyes widened as she felt oddly .. hard?

"Sn-snow? Are you ok-?!" I stared as all im holding is .. ice shaped exactly like snow... did she .. froze to death?!

"N-NO! SNOW!? Y-YOU'RE FROZEN!?" I touched her face as tears threatened to fall from my eyes.

"Y-you.. hand her over right now.. we could still save her" the men said.

"No way!" I said as i turned to run away but i just had to fvcking slip..

*CRASHH* *CLANKK*

it broke.. the ice broke into a million pieces as the men behind me stopped.

"N-NO! SNOW!" I scurried as i tried to piece her back together but i just couldn't... my hands were trembling.

"Mission abort.. tell mr ratri that she froze to death." I heard the adult said as he talked to his walkie talkie.

"Wait.. his an escapee from lambda.. take him." My eyes widened as they approached me cautiously.

I quickly took the smoke bomb in my pocket throwing it at them as they quickly took cover when the smoke exploded out.

THIRD PERSON's VIEW.

The group of men blindly search for the escapee but he was far gone already.

Gone from their sight at least..

Hayato breathed heavily as he wiped his tears away peeking outside from under the roots of the tree.

He was just meters close to the men but he was unseen as he quickly but quietly slipped to the underground tunnels.

*clap clap clap*

He turned behind him as he smiled still sniffing and wiping his fake tears away.

"Nice job hayato that was such a great performance.. welp what can i say? Im such an amazing teacher aren't i?" She giggled as he came up to hug her tightly.

"Hey. You better be careful. I wouldn't want that to happen for real ya know?" Hayato said as he chuckled ruffling her hair.

"As if.. so? Are they aborting their mission?" Frost asked as they started walking away.

"Yup but they found out that i was from lambda.. is that a bad or a good thing?" He said confusedly at her.

"Good..if they're idiots.." she said shrugging." They should think that the rest of the escapees died and that your the only one left.." she said as they casually walked ahead back to the hide out.

Earlier at the demon village...

"What exactly is your plan frost?" Hayato asked the girl in disguise as they continue to walk around wary pf the adults watching them from the trees.
