Have you ever wondered why apples fall?

Why a car would stop when the fuel's empty?

Because I do, I always do

I don't understand how one would slow down after reaching the finish line

I don't understand why planes can't be rocket ship

I don't understand how white can never be black

I don't understand how a smile can never reach the eyes

I don't understand why daylight fades

I don't understand why someone never stares back the way they used to

I want to understand
but I can't

Maybe this is how things are supposed to be

Maybe i won't understand it at all
because everything has a limit

...and I'm at the edge of mine
