Hermione walked into the Headmistress office  three minutes early.

"Hello, Hermione!" McGonagall waved. "Please join us."

Hermione walks further into the office.

"Hello Professor Snape," Hermione greets. She didn't really want to see him at the moment being she had told McGonagall her true feelings. She hoped that tea wouldn't be as awkward as she was thinking it might be.

Hermione sat down, and Minerva poured Hermione a cup of tea.

"Just as you like it Hermione," Minerva McGonagall pushed the cup over to the girl, and then pushed over a tray of biscuits. "Have a biscuit, Hermione, Severus." They both took a biscuit and carefully bit into it. Minerva took a sip of her tea.

"Can I ask why we are both here Professor?" Hermione asked.

The Headmistress smiled. "To me, it's clear, that you both fancy each other. So, I have set you up on a date." McGonagall left the office leaving Severus and Hermione sitting in the office.

Hermione mentally kicked herself. "Of course, I just had to tell her," Hermione mumbled.

"Tell her what?" Severus asked.

"I told her what my amortenia smelled like," Hermione explained. " And then, she went and did this. I am generally sorry Professor Snape."

"Being the situation we are in, I think it would be fitting if you were to call me Severus," Professor Snape responded.

Hermione nodded.

"Professor- Severus, do you think that she is serious? Do you think she actually set us up on a date?" Hermione asked.

"I think she already has," Severus stated. " She did leave us alone."

Hermione nods. "Oh gosh, look at this Severus. Do you think it's normal for her to have a brochure for a muggle fair on her desk?" She asked.

Severus Snape sighs. " I didn't think she was serious about setting us up," he comments.

"I'm not going to even ask why," Hermione comments.

Just then McGonagall walks back in.

"I forgot to tell you where I set your date up for!" McGonagall exclaims.

Hermione and Severus sigh in unison. McGonagall chuckles.

"I think you two are perfect for each other. Otherwise, I wouldn't have wasted my time," she says. " Anyways, as I was saying, next Wednesday, you will both get time off to go to the carnival." Hermione choked on her biscuit.

" Come again?" She asked.

"You heard her, Hermione," Severus stated kindly.

Hermione nodded her head. "So, to sum it up, My Headmistress, and your boss, is trying to set us up on a date."

Severus nodded. " That's what I get out of this."

McGonagall nodded and pushed the brochure across the desk. This time Severus choked on his biscuit.

"THAT'S what a carnival is," Severus said, his eyes wide in shock.

"Yes! Carnival's are amazing!" Hermione gushed. Severus gave her a weird look, as if he knew that the only reason she was hesitant to go was because of him.

He smiled at her. "I guess I could give it a try."

Then Hermione does something unexpected. She grabs his hand.

"Oh Severus, you'll love it!" She exclaimed.

Severus couldn't help himself but smile at her again. He was falling for the witch, and he knew she liked him back.
